Ravi was very sad today.I thought it may be due to some personal reason.As he is my boosom friend,i could not resist myself to ask him the cause of his sad mood.

Giving an empty look at me, he replied,”Do not act as if you do not know.From yesterday onward ban has  been implimented on smoking.People like you has nothing to loose , being nonsmokers.Rather you must have celebrated yesterday like Mini( his wife).”

I told , “But it is for betterment of our society & even for your health also. Now you can save also your medical bill.Mini bhabi will also have no complain’.

“Thats the main problem.As per Ministrial gazette we can smoke in open area, restricted area & in our house.From yesterday Mini has put one conditionthat if i smoke a cigaratte, then i have to pay 200\- fine to her .This is rediculous.She has even thretened me to complain to our office & if possible to health ministry about my smoking in house without her permission.”

I could not stop laughing. So Mr Ramdoss has given the ness fire power to housewives, even if it is in early stage.( i thought).

I asked politely ” So what have you decided now ?you will continue or leave ‘?

“Thats the biggest question.I shall loose heavily if i smoke in house, if caught outside police will torture.If i leave my mind will torture me.God knows why this law was passed ! ”Ravi exclaimed.

I just left that place & dialed Mini bhabi “Mini congratulation.you have won part battle. slowly your house is going to be SMOKE FREE”.

I could hear Mini bhabi’s proud laugh……..Thanx HEALTH MINISTER…..
