Last Friday i went to marina beach with family to have  some relaxation.But to my dismay it was jam packed like weekends.what to do ?Tourists & population to blame.I searched for a lonely place,but in vain.How do you find a lonely place in marina beach ! I asked this question to myself.so we settled in a corner.My daughter bought a kite & was busy in flying the same at a distance.Me & my wife were just the onlookers.
Suddenly one small boy in his teen(may be 8-9 years old)approached us & told”Sab,film cd venuma’?(sir would you like to have a film CD ‘?
My wife could not understand tamil;so she looked at me.she thought that boy is asking for some alm.
With my limited tamil vocabulary, I replied a firm “BENDA”(NO).
But he was a street smart. His dirty outfit & dry hair was just a disguise.Inside that ugly getup, there was a real marketing man.He knows his strategy & funda.He did not give up.
I asked him ‘where do you stay ‘?
‘Sab, i stay in that near by slum’.
He said, “SAB, IT IS  A HIT HINDI MOVIE . EVERYBODY IS PURCHASING IT.THE SAME MOVIE TICKET WILL COST YOU 500 RUPEES AT INOX THEATER.THIS DVD WILL COST YOU 50 RUPEES IN MARKET.I SHALL GIVE YOU DISCOUNT”

After taking a breath,he again started’ this movie has got several awards.If not for anything, buy this for A.R.RAHMAN’.
“Which movie”?I asked.
Seeing my intreast he replied “SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE”
“But cost of the cd is 20 rupees , not 50 rupees”.I told.

“What sab ?it is actually original dvd.clear picture.no cut.In addition you have two other bonus latest hindi movie .please give me 25 rupees atleast, my cost price.”said the boy.
I had seen the promos of the much hyped movie “SLAMDOG MILLIONAIRE ” in the tv & the boy has a lot of similarity with the kids seen on that movie.i was realy interested in watching that movie .And if i am getting a chance to see that movie in cheap rate why to wate that opportunity ? i asked to self.
‘SAB, please give 20 rupees.”
