Weekend was busy , so a whirlwind tour with family for the last two days has taken a toll out of me.On Saturday we went to PONDICHERY in the morning & had the ashram darshan & other notable places around including museum,different work places of asram.Had a good simple ashram meal & took a nap.No auruville this time. In the afternoon went to the famous NATRAJ temple at CHIDAMBARAM.Chidambaram is about 70 km from pondy & it takes about 2 hours by road.The temple is huge ,just like other big temple in tamilnadu.The famous deity NATRAJ idol is a small one.Actually i was expecting a huge panchotola dancing (SHIVA) natraj idol.But the magnificent gopuram & other temples inside the premises is worth watching.But the approach road to the temple is very narrow.We came back to pondy at 8.30 pm & stayed in the ashram guest house.
Next day(SUNDAY)visited the beach of pondy & morning ashram darshan.then suddenly we decided to go to THIRUBHANMALAI a famous pilgrimage place of tamilnadu which is 120 km from Pondy. The deity(SHIVA) is called “ARUNACHALAM”.Here people go for giripradakhina(going round the 16 km path around the hill), which is very pious as per local belief. We took a taxi & starated at 9.30 am.In the outskirt of pondy saw the huge PANCHAMUKHI HANUMAN temple.Reached thiruvanamalai at 11.30 Am.
The temple is the BIGGEST i have ever seen.Huge gopuram, 8 gates, two ponds & lots of temples inside it. You need minimum 6 hours to see the entire temple.It is in the foothill of a big mountain.Really amazing temple & a MUST SEE in tamilnadu .It is like HARIDWAR/ RISHIKESH ( WITHOUT OF COURSE ANY RIVER)of south;Because you find hundreds of ashrams by many GURUS scattered arround, & you will find scores of foreigners staying temporarily/permanently in the serach of peace.The surrounding around the hill is really peaceful( not inside the town, too crowded) .Accommodation & food is cheap here.Here you must see “MAHARSHI RAMAN’S ASHRAM.On the hill there is one more old ARUNACHALAM temple(smaller in size).On the way to Thiruvanmalai you will find hills with typical structures(as if somebody has piled stones ).

Actually from Chennai you can go to THIRUVANMALAI(160km) via Dindivanm junction on the national high way .From dindivanam ,pondy is 40 km in the different direction.
Back to chennai at 7 pm.Exhausted & tired……But a fullfilling mind & soul.
Now i am praying to LORD SHIVA to make me (in my next life) a BABA( So called saint) to have a LAVISH FIVE STAR ASHRAM in thiruvanmalai {all cost beared by the devootees & donations…just like now}or to make a foreigner who enjoy the tention free life in these ashram ………

Posted in Uncategorized on 09/26/2009 09:55 pm by aravind dasThe trip to Rameswaram was for a day, but it was great.The Jyoti linga at rameswarm is really spectacular with 22 holy wells inside the premises of the temple.we did not take complete bath, only sprinkled water from all the ponds & collected the water.But we are almost wet & u can say we had taken our bath, as after completing the entire 22 wells, you are left with wet clothes.But it was a pleasant experience.The darshan was nice.the interiors of the temple is really worth watch, as it has the longest pillar corrider temple in the world…you really fall in love with this temple’s pillared corridor.While passing through the embroidered corrider you will will wonder the magnificent sculptures around.
Then we visited the some other places around the town; the really worth watch is DHANUSH KOTI’S RAMA TEMPLE & RAMAPADAM TEMPLE.Both are small temple, but the dhanush koti has the scenic beauty of ‘Gulf of Mannar”.Here legend says BIBHISANA has surrendered to RAM.The vast white sand will make you a poet & a journey to the tip of gulf of mannar will left you spellbound with the colour of the water of Indian ocean.But not much to be seen there as bathing is ban there due to security reason.The Rampadam TEMPLE IS SMALL DOUBLE storeyed structure having Ram’s foot print.(God knows how many places Ram visited & left his foot prints???!!!)
The most notable thing in rameswaram was the “ADAM’S BRIDGE”which connect the main land with the rameswaram island.The bridge is a architectural wonder of our Indian engineers.the view is breathtaking & a must see.You can see it while passing over it either by road or train.
Then some useless places in the list of sightseeing.
If you wonder what was the most important place i saw at Rameswaram…..then hold your breath…it was not anything what i have described…”For me the best showpiece was in one of the small double storeyed building in the bylane of Rameswaram which is ‘Ancestral house of ABDUL KALAM ‘our ex-president.
CATTLE CLASS

We the people of India are electing these ELITE CLASS blind adamant socialites….who are born with silver spoon & live their life “king size” through the tax payers money.That time these arogants never hesitate to enjoy the fodders meant for the (us ) cattle.Sashi has now brought back to the reality by the congress party & he has apologised.
But the truth is how we fools elect this BRAINLESS BRAY to the parliament & we have to face the reality of this five star hotel addicted OX……WHAT U SAY sashi BULLOCK ?

Sahrukh was detained at the newyak airport for two hours for questioning…Was he detained for his name ,skin colour,' being asian or just being another muslim ?..thats the headlines in all media.So much noise & public outcry.But is it new a new thing in USA ?Everyday thousands of indians(asians) go through this gruelling process at the immigration counter & security cheak post in all the air ports of USA.Nobody opens his mouth.'
Even our ex-defence minister George farnadez & current minister pranab mukherrjee & even Abdul kalam also has been humiliated in the name of security frisking.But one thing is sure that they are extra cautious after the 9\11 attack & till now nothing has happened to'USA due to this security screening.
But they could' easily verify the 'creditibility of a person ,particularly when he or she is a dignitary or celebrity of a particular country.They can say that they traeat everybody in same\equal manner.Thats ok…. ..But can other nations cheak the top ranked leaders of USA ?Just try it…you will be'loaded with all the financial ostrichment. & restriction……
Any how coming to the Sahrukh episode one thing is for sure ,now he will think twice before going for a film shoot to USA.I think he will love his swadesh for the shooting purpose.
Now if you think what Sahrukh thinks “WHAT S IN NAME’ ?…..He will think hundred times about it , because now it is the name that matters.(at least in USA)
So Sahrukh may change' the title of his new'movie”MY NAME IS KHAN” to…..

“SACH KA SAMNA ” with WIFE

Because truth is so bitter in nature that it puts you in trouble in so many occasion .But we are taught to tell the truth always, how bitter it may be; reason ;- it helps you in the end.( i wonder ,whether it is a myth !)
After being inspired by the reality show “sach ki samna” in star plus channel( courtesy the media attention, public outcry & huge publicity by the channel itself ) ,i was forced to have a look at this DESI version show.
what really surprised me was “why are we so much interested in other’s private matter ?(whether it is true or false, it is somebody’s life).But we are human & we are always find enjoyment & entertaintenment in other’s private matters, particularly if he \ she is a public figure or celebrity. The funny thing is the LIE-DETECTOR machine is the judge for thr pre answered questiones.It is utterly disbelievable when you see the participitetents nod their head in negative. IS NOT IS DIFFICULT TO DIGEST THE TRUTH !
So being inspired by the show my wife asked me “Dear, did you have any affaire & intimate relationship with any other lady before our marriage ?Have you ever cheated me ?”
She again told me “Tell me the truth, i shall take it easy.After watching the show you have to tell the truth like these people.”
“Agni parikshya for RAMACHNDRA ?”i know it is time for the HOT SEAT.
I looked at her eagerly awaiting eyes & replied “Darling I know; i & you have to face the truth.But you are asking me the ultimate & 21st question like the show , which is worth 1 CRORE. So first give me the appearance money & the One CRORE rupees, then you will know the truth, whether you believe or not. “
She told “I know male donot have the guts to tell truthg about their life & you will never tell the truth, but i think a unromantic fellow like you , didn?t have a girl friend earlier “.
I did not know whether the monetary angle has discouraged her in extracting the truth from me & drawing a conclusion on her own…………. But really it is difficult & funny to face the real “SACH KA SAMNA” in real life.May be thats the reason there was a storm on this issue in our rajya sabha & lok sabha.Difficult to face the TRUTH…ISNOT IT ?

I thought i shall write about RAKHI’S SWAYAMVAR about a month back;But then i thought , if my parody & fun thinking will match the reality serial, then i may be drag to the court by producers of the show & may be rakhi herself will creat more hungama.
Any after watching some clippings on some tv channels, i wonder (like millions other)”will she marry ‘?thata million dollar question..is not it ?of course the MEDIA KI BETI? was able to creat?some hype after failing in previous trail in her tinsel town( her last talk show was super flop).
The sting operation by some tv chanel revealed that the entire show is nothing but GIMMICK…because all the preplanned rehershal,poor candidates who wants just 15 minutes?limelight\ stardom on small screen, A poor medicore ugly looking girl?hugging all the limelight after having several metamorphosis by the scalpel of plastic surgeons?,old drama tricks?on stage,unconvinshing bride & the most striking factor is the lack of truth in this reality drama has made this SWAYAMBHAR…into a more non spicy south indian SAMBHAR….
POOR RAKHI…she has tried her lavel best..but just like her acting this one also turning out to be a damp suib .
What i think

1)I guess her old?lover “ABISEKH KAPOOR”…will enter into the fray as a wild card candidate & marry her .
2)She may marry any one of the candidate & divorce in the next day(there is no clause that she will live with the guy for ever)
3)May be this?will?follow “RAKHI’S? TALAQUE”…….
If? u wonder what will happen next……then watch my words………NEXT TO FOLLOW IS “RAKHI’S SWAYAMVAR-PART-ii”…….

IZZAT SCHEME OF MAMATA
Posted in IZZAT SCHEME OF MAMATA on 07/05/2009 03:32 pm by aravind dasIZZAT schem ……… that the buzz word in MAMTA’S railway budget.Railway monthly pass would be given for rs 25 to travel within 100 km for the unorganised sector personals.Really good move. but one question arrised in my mind. is it feasible ?????because the eligibilty criteria for this schem is that you should not have a monthly income , more than 1500 Rs……
So i jst asked some few unorganised sector persons who travel daily in the train.
I asked a Hawker about his daily earning…..replay- aproxmately 200 to 400 rs per day.
tea & coffee vendors : - 200 to 500 per day.
fruit sellers:- 100 to 300 per day (minimum)
others- 100 to 200 rs minimum……
That menas nobody qualify for this scheme.I wa sreally surprised,why this ambiuity ??????
Suddenly one beggar came & asked for some alms…..immidiately it struk me.I asked the poor looking begger.what is your minimum earning per day ?
he was bit confused.To clear his doubt , i told him about the IZZAT scheme of railways minister.
He had a hearty laugh & said ” sir i am actually an INCOME TAX ACCESSE & PAYS IT ANNUALLY. I donot hide my income.Who care this IZZAT SCHEME ?WHY TO TRAVEL IN 25 RS PASS!!!!! ALL ALONG I AM TRAVELING IN ALLL TRAINS FREE……………

He came to mumbai with”HAZAROON KHWAISH AISI” like any other guy to make big in BOLLYWOOD.Then he realised the fact about “LIFE IN METRO” .Then came the TURNING…. ”BHUL BHULAIYA” of his life & now he is like a “GANGSTAR”…….
Yes these movies only speak the real life the HERO who acted in these movie.He is bollywood actor “SHINEY AHUJA”.
Poor guy did not know the differnce between “CASTING CAUCH” & “MAID SERVANT”.Like true filmi style his wife has comeout with persons like MADHUR BHANDARKAR, whose past is also not free from controversis .
So now the WIFE vs BIG BAD REALITY WORLD…Let see who wins…..
HOPE TRUTH prevails & let THE REAL offender get the punishment.
