मेरी बाते तूम जान न पायी
मेरे प्यार की बारिश मे तुम भीग न पायी दिल के कोरे कागज़ पर नाम तूम्हारा ही था
मगर तूम उसे पढ़ न पायी
हमारे दिल की सभी बाते तूमको कह दी
मगर तूम अपना दिल खोल ना पायी
घर जलाकर रोशनी करने वाले
मगर तूम सच्ची प्रीत को पहचान ना पायी
अंगारों की सेज पर हम चलते रहे
और तूम दो बोल बदनामी के सह ना पायी
हमारी प्रीत तो दुनिया मे मशहूर है
अफ़सोस, हमे अपना कभी तूम कह ना पायी……

quite contemporary expression, nicely expressed, to move out from the present stage, there is still enough scope, and as other side did not express positive towards proposal, there may have dwindling points of disposition of mind to find out anyhow since truth must come to light, inside out, search the ground why still not disclosing the truth, but a definite mind requires to achieve any stage, so mold the destiny….
