Transplant Procedure          : Under GA (L) modified Gibson incision, abdomen was will open. Retoperitoneum sutured. The Extern lilac vein was isolated; the internal iliac artery was isolated. The Donor kidney (L) was placed in renal bed and anastomosis done as follows.

 

Renal vein ' external iliac V ' 6'0 prolene (end to side anastamois)

 

Renal artery ' Internal iliac artery ' 6'o prolene ( end to end anastamosis)

Ureter was spatulated and anastamosed to bladder with 4'O vicryl. ® flank tube drain kept. (L) flank infant feeding tube kept. Wound closed in layers after obtaining complete haemostasis. Patient was treated with Liq Cyclosporin 2ml bd, T.Cellcept, T.Omnacortil 30mg od, T.Nicardia ® 10mg bd, Inj. Vit K 1amp Im od, T.ferrium 1 bd, Candid mouth paint tbs, Inj.Fortwin, Inj.Phenergan im sos, inj.Mol 2cc im sos, T.Polybion 1od, T.cepoderm 200mg 1bd.

 

Inj. Vit K given for 10days pre ad post operatively. DT will kept for 8th days and S.Cyclosporin though level checking and US be done for 1POD. Doctors advised to mentain strict intake and output chart daily, to wear face mask always, to avoid crowded places, to eat only hygienic home made food only. And to continue medicines as prescribed by the doctors.

 

SOME TESTS WILL BE DONE FOR DONOR AND RECEPIENT
