Search engine for kids

A search engine for kids

Quintura
has a search engine for kids
specifically. Phew…. bit of scripting, Lots of animation, kids probably won’t
feel the need to click , just scroll over a keyword and the results are
displayed. They can also search for anything specific they have in mind.

Are they happy now

Are they happy now ?

there are many stories here.

A killer who killed many children and probably adults for his hunger.

A servent who actively participated in the killings.

Let’s keep their motive separate. Here is another part of this. Local
government wakes up in the morning and came to know about the killings through
newspapers and news channels. Now, since they are heading towards elections,
they announce a compensation of Rs. 2 lakhs to the suffered families. What an
irony ? families are not happy with this amount. They agitate and demand more.
Some asked for homes, some one demanded govt. job, some asked for more money.
Finally, they have settled themselves with compensation of Rs. 5 lakhs.

Are they happy now ?

Are they thankfull to their lost children?

They must be.

a ruthless killer was better then the these relatives. Thank God, they are
dead or they had a fate with these people.
They are in peace NOW!

I quickly glanced through the headlines and read the news, India defeated again. Had lot more to say, but let’s just forget the topic. Let’s not waste our precious time discussing the strategy they shall follow.
JUST DUMP ALL OF THEM.

phew ….,lots and lots of to say

SADDAM HUSSAIN!!! that’s a name which
can attract many visitors, atleast for few days, no matter the visitor will turn
back to the blog/site again. Anyhow, with the same views in mind, I started
searching for the same. I found some touching views by a blog which says Baghdad
burning, here is the some text.

End of Another Year…

You know your country is in trouble when:

  1. The UN has to open a special branch just to keep track of the chaos and
    bloodshed, UNAMI.

  2. Abovementioned branch cannot be run from your country.

  3. The politicians who worked to put your country in this sorry state can
no longer be found inside of, or anywhere near, its borders.

  4. The only thing the US and Iran can agree about is the deteriorating
    state of your nation.

  5. An 8-year war and 13-year blockade are looking like the country’s
    ‘Golden Years’.

  6. Your country is purportedly ’selling’ 2 million barrels of oil a day,
but you are standing in line for 4 hours for black market gasoline for
    the generator.

  7. For every 5 hours of no electricity, you get one hour of public
electricity and then the government announces it’s going to cut back on
    providing that hour.

  8. Politicians who supported the war spend tv time debating whether it is
    ’sectarian bloodshed’ or ‘civil war’.

  9. People consider themselves lucky if they can actually identify the
corpse of the relative that’s been missing for two weeks.

A day in the life of the average Iraqi has been reduced to identifying
corpses, avoiding car bombs and attempting to keep track of which family
members have been detained, which ones have been exiled and which ones have
been abducted. “

=| The views can be seen as coming out of an Iraqi himself. I
really feel for him/her. They really have hard time to go through. Although my
personal view is , another community shia, which is supposed  to be happy,
(the news flashing saying this), i do not agree. Anyway, Iraq’ govt has to show
some thing to the world, that they are happy with the ongoing happenings, I
wonder why they were in so much hurry, to finish the job on their special day.

My personal views are that the world community has to choose
one of the two ways. One, the power struggle would be divided between two
communities, Muslims and non-Muslims. Two, people have to choose to be Americans
and non-Americans . Both these ways link to the single path of world war III.
The history will see the execution of a dictator as the crossing of first mile
on the way to world war.

and yes!! i came across a protest against this in my own
city, small mob but gained attention due to issue and the type of slogans they
were raising. My own country is no different. We have been defeated and we WILL
BE DEFEATED for the same reasons. We have not learned from history then and not
now. The world has big brother like America (read Bush) who at least is doing
all this for his country. Our politians are doing the same for their families
and children, ignoring the fact that they a writing the same fate for their own
children. |=

Anyway, stopping all the crap, Here is the
link to the Baghdad
Burning.

paapi TRP rating ke liye

Aaj tak and even star news devote half
an hour of prime time to cricket discussions. I wonder they have ever discussed
nuclear power treaty for public sake. probably they never will. Since, no one
would be watching it and yes they have to take care of TRP ratings also. We are
getting into habit of avoiding our national issues in the interest of the team
which they say is team india and the BCCI itself denies it to be a national
team. (those who doubt me , googlify BCCI in news archive).

dhanda to karna hi hai, paapi pet ka sawal hai.

These channels are really working hard to find news as they did some time
ago. They had a complete two hour story and live coverage for a driver who could
drive a car by sitting on co-drivers seat. Man!! what he did was just his hobby,
but the channel had flashed the news of the ghostly car. what a pitty?

And yes, they have veteran players  as guests to discuss the performance
of the team ball by ball. Those players who claim they knew the strategy of the
team and team management have few international matches in their cv. Will these
channels call some one from team management to discuss the same.

Well done Warne

No, I am not a die hard fan of cricket, but since this is more in news than ANY OTHER NATIONAL ISSUE, it s just picks my attention no matter what. Although I do not remember when was the last time I watch even Indians playing. So, this time it is Shane Warne world record of 700 wickets. Great job done man!!!! I appreciate the spirit of this player.
Oh yes!! I remember I loved to watch south africans’ play when they had Jhonty rodes on field.
I do not think some one in near future can break his record.

We Indians shall learn from them. Instead of creating world record for the sake of name ( like some one just did it by dancing more then 100 hrs, another did it by singing , no matter what and no matter how good, no matter how risky for their health).I wonder if any
of us indian will even try to break Shakuntla’s world record for memory and expertise in mathematics
, just because it won’t get us fame. (ahhhh!!). But we can do wonders in FameX,
indian (idle)

What is this?

What an irony? She died because she refused to serve wine. Now, when the justice is delivered, Her sister celebrated by opening a champagne. Ms. Sabrina (it seems) was driving the case just to satisfy her ego and not for her sister.

A historic win

Now since, India has won the match with a big diffrence in scores, after 14 long years, who should we credit the win too. Let us leave the formal “team effort” like words and be selfish for few moments.
“It’s unbelievable,” Rahul Dravid told TOI ” does this shows he had lost the winning spirit already.
Was it Saurav ?
Was it Shree santh?
What the hell sachin, dravid and other team india players have done besides making their presence on field. Oh yes!!! Being Captain, Dravid had to hold a cup.
Sorry guys!!! This win still has not washed away my memories of clean sweep in one days.
