We live in a society that has strange and at times unfair rules and beliefs and most people follow them,or are unhappy with them. I decided many years ago that i really didn’t want to follow norms of behaviour that i didn’t agree with,that i wanted to do things my way and follow my own rules and values and that is what i have done.But it is not easy.People talk,they criticize,they say hurtful and untruthful things about you. I decided that still it was worth it and thats how i have lived.It is much easier being a sheep and following what everyone else does.You have to decide……do you want to be a follower or a leader?

Jim and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out.
When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna’s heroic act, she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her mentally stable.
When she went to tell Edna the news she said, “Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you are being discharged. Since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of another, means that you have a sound mind. The bad news is, Jim, the patient you saved, hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he’s dead.”
Edna replied, “He didn’t hang himself, I put him there to dry. How soon can I go home?

My darling husband
Before you return from your trip I just want to let you know about the small accident I had with the
pick- up truck when I turned into the driveway. Fortunately, it was not too bad and I really didn’t get hurt, so please don’t worry too much about me.
I was coming home from SUper MArt and when I turned into the driveway I accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead of the brake. The garage door is slightly bent but the pick-up, fortunately, came to a halt when it bumped into your car.
I am really sorry, but I know with your kind-hearted personality you will forgive me. You know how much I love you and care for you my sweetheart. I am enclosing a picture for you.
