CAN WE DO SOMETHING FOR OTHERS WHO ARE NOT AS FORTUNATE AS US?

India is booming.Economy is on a roller coaster. But still people are dying and commiting suicide due to poverty.
This paradox is creating situations where the poor and oppressed are striking back.As kidnappers, mafia, theives, terrorists.
It is a disturbing fact that the uneven distribution of fruits of burgeoning economy is creating a class of violent and deviant group which justifies its actions and seeks to make money through criminal deeds.
If we don not wake up now, this segment will make our lives miserable and our very existence in peace at peril.
The time has come for a Neo socialist philosophy.
If we forget the less fortunate bystanders who are now in silent envy, a day will come when we are violently awakened by their retaliation.
Do something for them before its too late.
There is a limit to greed.
They also have a right to live in dignity.
Spare a percentage of your  fortune for their sake.
Spend time for them.Question the government and make sure that the taxes you pay are being properly funneled to this segment.Activism is required
Diseminate  knowledge.Sensitise the poor you come across about the need for education.Enrol their wards in schools. If possible sponsor them.
Associate with the local social service groups and search for a reason for your existence!

MUSLIMS IN INDIA-PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT

Yesterday the Planning Commission has reported a disturbing statistic about the state of education among Muslim Indians.
*12 % Muslim children do not go to school even today.
*Rate of illiteracy among rural muslims is 50%
*Rate of illiteracy among urban muslims is 33%
*Only 3% of muslims go up for graduation against a national average of 8%.

I am from Hyderabad where we have 3 muslim medical colleges,33 engineering colleges and innumerous minority educational institutions.I am associated with Madina Group of Institutions which is in the field of muslim education for past 25 years.

We could reach out to only a small segment of muslims and am worried after seeing the above statistics.I invite all concerned Indians to share their experiences and thoughts to bring educational awakening in our community.

Any workable strategies suggested will be implemented by our organisation to spread knowledge and bring about socio economic well being of our community
