I am sure all of you have visited nitin jash last posts about secret of married life and one recent .and some of the 2-3 liners very inspiring nitin. Well, Nitin is the one who gave me chetan .I can never forget that. It reminded me of shelly .who was searching link for chetan and that famous lecture—from the country of 1 billion sparks?desparately, but shelly is not seen after that. Deepak Shukla, ( writing full name bcos there are few more deepaks here..) ur last post was really touching. Was it ur own?.. sorry to ask direct .but if so, congrates to you. Your creation was wonderful .dhoon banane ki koshish bhi karo..shayad ek bahut hi achcha gana ban jaaye..SUNIL PRAHARY .is the guy who still makes me laugh with his one line comments. Kausalya has once shared aout mannerisms about eating at restaurants or public places. Very nice post .SUNILs comment..bahut achcha tha..bhook lag gayi..still makes me laugh. Btw..kausalyas all blogs are very spiritual and enlightening. Deepika, I understood you stopped blogging because of some silly or rather sticky matters .I wish you could read some of my previous blogs and understand how entire ilanders are reacting on such matters. Be cool .come back!!
Finally guys n gals..If there is one guy in entire last hundred years (apart from Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Diana .and few more you can add if u remember .) who not only said but truly lived the words .WE ARE THE WORLD and HEAL THE WORLD .is my beloved Michael Jackson. In my views, he has done more to heal the world ( even at a small level thru his music..) than most of the other political leaders or saints who talk big..but can never ever achieve what MJ has truly achieved in his short life (and even shorter period actively..as last 11 yrs were the darkest years of his life). Does anyone have courage to go beyond race, religion and nations and make a place in hearts of millions of people around the world ? MJ did it without much efforts. What made him true legend and a universal icon?? ( probably the only real superstar in the world .) Well, It was pure love. From brook shield to Jeramine j. and from Kenny Ortega ( Director of This is it..tour) to Smokey robinson told ystrday at his memorial .He was a man of heart..and would do anything for his friends AND FAMILY anything!! This was MJ .HE WOULD GO OUT OF THE WAY TO HELP PEOPLE IN NEED .that was the essence which made his music and dances ..something more than just music or dance ..He truly loved people .The musical and magical moments MJ has given can anyone forget that?? Never ever .The theme picture in ystrdays memorial where MJ is shown telling..I AM ALIVE AND HERE FOREVER .is very true. I am sure many of you have watched ystrdays memorial live!! If not, don't miss the next telecast..whenever it is. It was shown on CNN.
It was very touching and emotional tribute to Michael Jackson Memorial yesterday . I consider myself lucky to be able to watch it live at staples centre( on tv..off-course!)..as per CNN..one of the most watched event in recent history!! Every moment of it was tremendous..but I will never forget Brook Shields tribute to MJ and how emotional she became while talking on MJ..and also his daughter paris..I could not stop my tears when she gave her tribute..And particularly at the end while everyone around the world watching it on tv or live .were requested to hold the hands of nex guy or girl .with the song playing WE ARE THE WORLD.
I was only 13 yrs old while coming back from kerala to gujrat..on train I picked up one gujarati magazine..chitralekha..There was some article on MJ. I read it but could never understood why are people crazy about him. Then my big bro. who was lucky enough to watch some of his videos, explained me about his magic. That was my first chase to MJ. That was 86 and television was still a luxury in india.. very few people had it. Video was nowhere in our small town! So I had to wait few more years..to feel the magic of MJ. Thriller—was the first video I seen in 90s when cable tv started officially. Except DD,METRO only ZEE and CNN was there. CNN because of gulf war..Slowly MTV,V TV all music channel started. All I can remember is I became instant fan of him..and never missed any of his songs on telecast. He has the power to take me to entirely another world .and feel me so high. Uncomparable experience even today!! In recent years when I was in middle east I was frequently visiting Bahrain. A very small but live country .specially comparing to Saudi..Both are neighbouring countries but with two extremes. Saudi is very large and still under lot of restrictions and customs. Bahrain is very small but no restrictions and very friendly country. Lately, I came to know MJ was a special guest of King of Bahrain and was living in a palace there for many years during his last dark years. I wish I could have visited him sometime Was just reading Amitjis blog the day Jackson gone..Amitji have very humbly shared his experience in live MJ show at Jacksonville .and after few years of that his meeting wih MJ in one hotel in US. Do read it guys.
I always believed the magic of MJ is going to be there ever..forever. And after watching ystrdays tribute to MJ, I truly understood and felt..why he is a universal icon. Why everyone loves him so much. MJ is gone becos of over medication as experts are telling. He was in too much pain and had to gone thru lot of medication which the system did not accepted. Apperantly, after being released from all the charges in 2005, he spent one week with Dr.Deepak Chopra .Where he had asked for prescription for some narcotic for getting relief from heavy pain. DC disagreed and confronted strongly and also understood MJ is already taking heavy medication. Despite his confrontation MJ was not convinced and continued it. This was the major reason according to experts MJ is gone.
I think god has some other plans..May be god was too curious for his comeback..on 13 th july..And thought its easy to call MJ to him rather than going to London!! Anyways, MJ had to go back from this world like all of us one day .But he will be remembered forever ..ever..ever..ever..and Michael Jackson proved that it is possible to make a change in the world..despite all personal tragedies and problems. I salute to this legend and assure I will do everything in my capacity to do so.
Love you Michael,Manoj.
( guys..guys..guys..some clarifications…just edited this one..there is no way we can compare MJ with the legends i mentioned above..i just meant that he joined their rank in healing the world in a small way thru his music…..and he is the only real super star in the world of entertainment….love u guys n gals..keep commenting.)
