I got this mail as a forward….thought was quite useful and wanted to share with my ilander friends.

1. Chewing on gum while cutting onions can help a person
from stop producing tears. Try it next time you chop onions.

2. Until babies are six months old, they can breathe and
swallow at the same time. Indeed convenient!

3. Offered a new pen to write with, 97% of all people will
write their own name.

4. Male mosquitoes are vegetarians. Only females bite.


5. The average person’s field of vision encompasses a

6. To find out if a watermelon is ripe, knock it, and if it

sounds hollow then it is ripe.

7. Canadians can send letters with personalized postage
stamps showing their own photos on each stamp.

    ha!! few of them were indeed quite useful. 12-grapes explode, try boiled eggs. I did and my neighbors could hear it. It was quite a bomb blast with the egg yolk splashed inside the oven as if painted with a paste of the yolk.

    Interesting. The female of the species is deadly, I always thought the cats could never be regimented. Camesl and Giraffes are ungainly so their right right walk is understandable.

    some of the facts are interesting - the trivia remain doubtful. As for female of the human variety - i think they bite the male when provoked :-))))

    Some interesting trivia. As for no. 3, I guess I fall into the 3% cos I never think of my own name. As for no. 5, with a 20 degree wide field of vision, it is absolutely amazing that most people are still so myopic in the views ;)
