Wow!! .... So, if today all of india converts to buddhism then all our problems will vanish?? Just like Tibet's problems have vanished??

Taking examples of some really ancient history to make hindus feel guilty about something, is really cheapshot. If we go that direction, the christians should be spending all their time apologizing to the world.

There might have been friction once upon a time, but it is the hindus who have come to the Aid of the Buddhists in their time of need. What do you think would have been the fate of buddhism if india (and hindus) hadn't let them live and prosper in india as refugees?? How many countries and cultures have done something like that??

Religious distress is at the same time the expression of real distress and the protest against real distress. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, just as it is the spirit of a spiritless situation. It is the opium of the people. The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is required for their real happiness. The demand to give up the illusion about its condition is the demand to give up a condition which needs illusions.
