    Hi !

Just a analysis on the child aged 10 watching porn. First and foremost, eventhough a child is not sexually active at the age of 10 but he knows what sex is(he/she knows if he/she is boy/girl). So, obviously he is curious about the next phase of his life and he gathers information about it. So no reason to get shocked about it. It is natural.
Secondly, do not tell him not to watch it. Don’t say to him watch it either. Try to make him understand the whole phenomena. Children are very intelligent people they understand life much easily than we adults do. If you block the sites, stop keyword searches porn will become a forbidden fruit for him. Blocking these sites will create more curosity. He may not watch at home, he may watch at friends place or somewhere else.

Let the society think whatever it feels. I appreciate your thoughts and the way you two are adjusting with the demanding situation. Me and my wife also work. Sarmistha’’s work is very demanding as a Customer Support In-Charge. I am a Government Servant. My pressure is not that much. So I have to play the role of Father as well as mother for our 4+ son, Rwiju. I”ve even told my spouse, that if she gets a job with salary equivalent to what we together earn today, I”ll leave my job and look after our son and pursue my hobbies. I won”t have any problem. So, please accept my heartfelt appreciation and congratulations. I stand up and applaud you two. All the very best to you.I have one request to you. Can we be friends and share our experiences?

it is hitting me hard…..while all the mothers & mothers to be …talk of blues….and calciums…..not one is thinking traditional at all…the colour fr all things feminine is pink…so pls be advised to change colours mid stream…..then dads will have a go at their colous……BLUE….

WELL….if life all about getting babies and bringing up babies and dal makhani….naturally we guys will sit in front of the t.v/s watching late night hots…..worries are a part…only if u beleive that brining up is pain…i beleive bringing up is full time job….no offence meant…but who cares….we all need to match the neighbours…so lets addup to the agony..

the below message is for palak

  35. sreelatha chakravarty says:

To add to what dee advised for ur kid, lemme say that u also need to get him checked for anaemia and worm-infestation which can also lead to “pica”(eating disorder charecterised by craving for non-edible food like clay, cement, plaster, mud etc. etc. found in toddlers & even pregnancy). So go in for deworming & also correction of anaemia very common in the 2nd year of life.Yeah do not give irontonics & calcium supplements at the same timings-give a gap for the dosage.Sorry I got into my advisory mode but I have the qualification so just helping out if u haven’t been already guided.Yeah visit my hobby blog page on freedomtowrite@rediffiland.

  38. Piu Soin says:

    Hey Everyone!

Im a Mum of 2 kids-an 8 year old son and a 5 month old baby girl. Its true that delivery and post partum blues hit all of us like a hurricane, but what I realised is that it had more to do with just the newness and change of it all, not just hormones.

Here is why; with my son I went through every kind of depression thinkable and when we adopted our daughter I thought “hey this should be cool, no post delivery pains/hormones, no nothing!”…trust me just that session of sleepless nights that followed, a baby wailing for milk on and off, and the complete turn around of an otherwise relaxed controlled life is what drives us off the hedge!

Its just a matter of time and things fall beautifully into place…esp. when your child smiles back when you walk past, holds out his/her hands for a hug…I think motherhood is worth its weight in gold!

All the best you to-be mums!

    Piu

  40. Pavani Rao says:

i love this blog tht u have created..i recently got married and everytime this thought comes to my mind that i have to start a family soon, i am going weak in my knees….i feel bad that i am feeling nervous abt a natural thing every one crave for…its not that i dont like babies or kids..i adore them but somehow whenit comes to me i feel like kind of running away..and now when i read ur post i felt little better..now it just seems like it is just human for me to go through it….and this blog says working moms , so it makes me feel all the more better..because that is one of the most scariest aspects which actually makes me get this knotty feeling in my stomach whenever i think of starting a family….i am scared that my career will be affected…i just finished my master’s and started working like since an year…and i am still trying to establish my career…so..anyways..i love your blog….ur child is lucky to have you..as you are so clear iun your thoughts….
