Dear Respected Sir,
This is to inform you that I was at Bandra Station on 11th July 2007 and saw the ghastly sight that took place in the train, and all I need to ask you and your team as to why us…..it could have been anyone of us who travel daily to work by first class.
Its sad that we have to see this day in the history of Mumbai…agreed the spirit of Mumbai is great but please dont take Mumbaikars for granted…in the area where I live in Evershine City Vasai East, there were 30 deaths and the shamshaan was full with bodies….Me and my family haven t slept ever since…
I think Mumbai needs a revolution now…cause either its the rains or blasts…and still nothing gets solved, the roads are bad, the trains are overcrowded and unsafe, and still all we middle class people keep doing is keep paying taxes to survive in this city..Even abroad, 40% tax is collected form each individual which is used to give the citizens of the country all the benefits…which we are not gi
All the explosions appear to have taken place close to railway stations i.e. as the trains arrived or as they departed. Does it have anything to suggest that the explosions were activated from the stations or the person activating it was in train and was either alighting or had alighted and set the trigger. Any explosive expert to comment on this?

I saw failure of our INTELLIGENCE. I saw blame game by politicain. I saw no harsh action against extremist. I saw loopholes in our system. I saw they are smarter than our IPS, IAS, Beaurocrats. This kind of planned execution is not possible without the help of local goons or even our govt. logistics and communications. 100’s of people were involved to mobilise the material from across the border to desired locations and targets. They can Tap our resource we cannot. Apart from all the Intelligence infornmation we were busy discussing ties between CPI-Congress-RJD-DMK etc…. I dont blame 1 man or present Govt. even if it was NDA not UPA result would have been same. We are more busy in dicussing RAKHI Sawant in parliament. We are busy in seeing that which women touched GOD IDOL in SABRIMALA. We are soft, cowards and weak. Our people are great in donating and helping after the tragedy has struck. But not careful enough before that. If this continues they’ll strike back.
We have to use our head and stop this nonsese immediately!!!

1) Let the Ticket Collector (T.C.) Known as Black Crows have Explosive
detective mechanism. One Hand Held Mechanism is enough.
2) Let there be some sort of sensors, randomly in Train.
3) 1993 Bomb Blast case shall be reopened and all the culprits should be punished. NO Human Rights should intervene inbetween.
4) Where are Human Rights Organisation when innocent persons are been killed.
5) Pl. for God Sake, Ask the Police to check Suspicious parcels, and also instead of distribution lakhs of Rupees after the tragedy, Pl. Increase the salary of Police personnel, so that they will not take bribes & other things
Today Terrorists, tomorrow it would politicians, since it was Government Officers, who kill indian citizens mercilessly without stopping at any point, more than support to common citizen, all the three elements must be sitting to discuss, where to make more money out of the situation, looting must have started at hospitals to give those flesh with no soul.
We citizens of india are livingly dead, let us get ready to another day. I am proud to be member and co-citizen of our shameless society, the indian society, since with another day, we expect right from Top Man to lowest rung government fellow to rape us, brutally harm us and kill us open day light, and we citizens still go with our day, since when we die, we have no voice, and those who live live for themselves.
After Few days, few weeks, few months, few years again all the three elements will collate to kill innocent citizens, so let us all be ready to die, since we are proud indian citizens.
What a terrible day! A heinous crime -bombing innocent people, shattering their lives, killing and maiming thousands…. for what cause? These terrorists should be identified and handed over to the public. We will deal with them. They should be stoned to death - subjected to slow, painful deaths so that they understand the agony suffered by others. No sense in going through the judiciary system - it is all a sham. The govt, police, security, all these are just empty words. We are all at the mercy of these terrorists who strike when they want, how they want and whom they want.
Enough of making friends with Pakistan. They are breeding these terrorists on one hand and are pretending to be friendly with us on the other.
The govt should find these terrorist camps and bomb them - tit for tat. This will not bring backthose who perished but will make those terrorists think again before taking more innocent lives.

My point in all this….. \”Shame on the telephone companies\”… They boast advanced networks and systems. What happened during the crunch situation? All networks down? Why do you issue so many phones when you cant support them?
Do hell with the unlimited talk time, we need to talk in emergency situations. If we cant make a 20 second call in emergency, what a shame these companies talk of \”lifetime free\”.
Dont complain this is the first time, the networks get jammed even on new years eve. That happens every year. So we know that the capacity is low. Then why dont you work on managing such emegency situations?
Even from a social angle, its your moral duty. If someone is stuck and needs help, someones relative is missing, somebody wants to convey his parents that he is safe….. and he banks on your phone for that…. what does your service do? Dissapoint them and add to the trauma..

let the politians be warned that they shall not mock the grief of the Mumbaikars by making a beeline to the hospitals to get press coverage and the opportunity to get publicity for themselves and their perties.Specially the V I P s should allow the agencies to work without the overload of the security issues.Help and guide the agencies to work sitting in their offices and not go on site visits!
Let the masses see their effectiveness as administrators and not as public performances for blame game. The competition should be in what they have contributed in getting Mumbai on track!No lipservice pleas.
We Indians need to get together during this bad phase of their lives. If stupid people can think that they can tear us apart by things like this they are wrong. We know that our govt machinery/police/intelligence is good for nothing. With such illustrous citizens we dont need to rely on them. Today there are two main enemies 1) Corruption 2) Terrorism. We need to come together to curb these evils. The key to these solutions is awareness. We need a body that can take action on any such incidents reported by citizens.
It’s frustrating to see these terror attacks in India (Last year Blasts in Delhi during Diwali, Temples in Varanasi and now this). Why isn’t India doing enough to atleast contain this. Everytime you hear our leaders say that “strong actions will be taken” and nothing gets done. Why cant we atleast install video cameras in Railway stations/Airports and any such area. I would imagine this is attainable. Also I think we have taken as some timid nation who never react to these attack. Why aren’t we going on an all our offensive in POK when Laskar-E-Taiba in past have acknowledged that it has undertaken such attacks. One can argue this can lead us in war with Pakistan and possibly a nuclear war. I think this fear is over hyped. Either we keep taking hits like these or we take some action.
I guess we will never do much against these callous acts of terrorism. For god sake these terrorist once attack our parliament where our “think tank” supposedly take our country further and we did nothing

This is the attitude, we Indians have been carrying since the dawn of civilization.People can vent their anger or throw in 2 cents of their time, but little will change the world’s largest democracy. Secular India, so to speak, will go on to appease minorites to win more votes and create separate laws for the well being of minorities while continuing to rue the aftermath of incomplete partition (1947).

Why is Indian State and Federal government so poor in defending its citizens. Is an “Indians life” so cheap that the government doesn’t bother to protect it, or the politicians are simply too busy with their own political interest. Its high time now We need to sit and think. Now blasts are happening in India every couple of months..Bangalore IISc attack,Banaras blast and before that Delhi blast on last Diwali.
Till when can we tolerate it. No right person can disagree with me that in the name of peace with our neighbouring country we let our citizens die.

However, I must tell you that when I phoned up Holy Family Hospital a shortwhile ago to offer O +ive blood, which you said they needed for victims, they declined the same. Maybe you should give more numbers of the organisations which can assist in blood donations.

2. This Body should Join Hands with some good News Channels which are helping create awareness and fight against the Corruption in the Government , especially those Mechanisms which are affecting the Internal Security of the Country .
( Ex. If I see a Policeman let off a vehicle at a check post , by accepting Bribe , I must immediately bring it to the attention of the Public , and create pressure on the mechanism to eliminate any such behaviour in the future )
3. Since , In India , possession of weapons ( even for self defence ) is rare , we will have to inform the Police , and even force them to take immediate action , against any such suspects , immediately .
4. We must question the Government and if required , join Hands with them in fighting infiltration by the Militants , both from Pakistan and Bangla Desh .
5. We must proactively attack the suspected out-fits in India ( like SIMI ) and defuse them .

I want to suggest a few action points that should be taken on an urgent basis , to clean up this mess and Fight Terrorism >
1. The Youngsters must come together to form an “ ALERT FORCE “ against Terrorism , whose main responsibility would be to create a very strong Information Network across the country which can keep a vigil over any untoward activities / movements building up in their vicinity ( Something Like Citizen Journalists )

I strongly condemn these attacks and fully agree that hard core action be taken against the the attackers. I also believe it is upto us to be alert at all times while travelling in trains buses or any other kind of public transport. It would be unwise to blame the government entirely for the fiasco. Mumbai Blasts
A day after the heinous attack on our Commercial Capital Mumbai a question arises in the minds of every citizen of India as to how safe we are in India.
Hundreds of innocent people lost their lives and lots more injured in the attack who were no way concerned. The VIPs only visits the hospital and declare a ex-gratia payment which cannot supplement a life taken away by the terrorist.
Who is to be blamed. What happened to our intelligence agency. Did the intelligence agency had any clue of this earlier. Who will answer these questions
The internal security of India has been jeopardized after the UPA Govt came to power. The weak UPA Government headed by Honorable Prime Minister Singhji has not taken any concrete steps in curbing the terrorists attacks in the two years. It has only increased in numbers. The weakness of our Government has only the strengthened the terrorists agency in carrying out the attacks easily.
What is the Home Ministry headed by Honorable Home Minister Shivraj Patil doing. Are they taking any concrete steps to curb such attacks in future.
Now it is a known factor that the country has become hub for terrorists activities. The terrorist’s doesn’t want the people of India to live in peace.
Two attacks in the same day. One in Srinagar where a series of grenade attacks took place in the morning and seven blasts at Mumbai in the evening.
The Home Ministry should have taken clue from the morning’s attack and tightened security in the country.
In last few days there were attacks in the trains of foreign country this should have alerted our Government to strengthen the security at Railway stations and trains.
The Ministry of Railway and Road Transport should make the checking of luggage carried by passengers mandatory before boarding the train or buses. It should be made compulsory by Private Tourists operators too.
Now it is time for we citizens to unite revolt against the Government and bring down as early as possible. If left like this then terrorists will start ruling our country.

Yesterday’s bomb blast has once again shown how vulnerable we r to terrorist ploy. Why pre-emptive action cannot be taken by destroying all those madrasas, terrorist training centre where such breeding takes place. Let’s stop one sided peace process with Pakistan as snake can not be realy tamed as pet. Police should be given some incentive,moral boosting & VIP,VVIP should stop interfering in their work.
And we should salute mumbaikar & their courage, humanity shown by them in this situation. Who says they are rude? They will certainly rediscover the meaning of humanity in Mumbai, humane face of Mumbai.
My message to Terroist :-
Don’t be coward and attach the innocent people which has done no harm to you. If you are really brave and believe in your idealogies come out and Fight with the Soldiers/Army. Let there be fight between Man to Man rather then attaching Civilians.
This recent attachs in Mumbai shows that you are still not conident in your thinking and guessing which is right or wrong. If you are right come out and fight openly.
Forget about religion and borders, think about the sheer waste of innocent lives lost. Politicians, commoners, everybody should wake up now and do something for our country so that these gruesome acts don’t repeat. My condolences to all the families who lost their parents, brothers, sisters, friends and relatives.

Are we not carrying secularism too far. All these blasts wouldn’t have been possible without local muslim help. What are we doing about it ? Is this country going to pay for the fact that we didnot turnover muslims to Pakistan when partition took place ? Muslims have to look inwards tlest it is too late.
