hey I came across ur blog on the rediff homepage and wht caught my eye was the title. Go 92.5 is gone ? I have been following the folks on 92.5 for all these years and was missing all the RJs. I am currently in Canada for a short stint and was looking forward to listening to Jaggu and the fantastic Horn OK Please.

But this is crazy news and really sad. Is there no way we can get these folks back on air ?

Hi! I have been out of Mumbai for nearly 21/2 years now. I miss Mumbai a lot. The good old days back home are something to cherish about. People call Mumbai dirty and rightly so, but I still find it the best place to live. The people of Mumbai are very friendly and sometimes overfriendly too. I am waiting to get back to my home in Mumbai.

I am getting drawn to the idea of blogging. Feels great to jot down your thoughts and share it with others - unknowns. Yeh hai Mumbai meri jaan and The whore - were so well written. Also - holi ko unholy karde - was a fantastic parody of the song from A3.

The movie release got delayed because the producers wanted another character, a Sikh - “Avtar” to ensure complete communal harmony - but found no actors. It was a joke and as usual on “the Sardars”. Similarly the movie, John Janni, Janardan was supposed to have another character - Jarnail.

For the last one month, I have been working out of Chennai. I was here before - long ago - 1967 - when the only food available was typical south Indian food. Now however, things have changed. The cook at the company guest house feeds me with north Indian food and some Italian too. Not that I am a fussy eater.

    Cheers

I was born in the year 1933.This year was not listed in the New User to enlist.Does it mean an aged person cannot become a member? If it is not correct give the right direction to register and enlist.

    Hi all,
I stumbled upon this site and found it very interesting in terms of street level thoughts and so forth.
I’m from Melbourne, Australia and have just booked a ticket for 2 stops in Mumbai, one in July( i hear you saying oh no!) and january (hopefully alot drier).. the thought of arriving in Mumbai alone with no idea of the city other than cultural landmarks and the usual tourist attractions is slightly daunting.
Where do i find the ‘real’ Mumbai??
Any help or suggestions would be a terrific help.

    Brad

    Hi All,

I dont want whine about the things that are going on in bombay. The thing is participation & education.

It would be really nice if anyone out here would be interested in working with and contributing towards the enhancement of our city, even if its on a very minor scale.

Cause the aim is to lead and direct, that what feel..our point would be to evaluate and explain to the people. FYI I work as a traffic analyst and think about the situation in india and would like to contribute towards its improvement.

  13. Name POONAM says

it is surprising that lata didi is opposing the peddar road flyover
i happen to be associated with one of her family ventures
when caught in a traffic jam it was didi who said that she felt like getting down and doing the job of the traffic police
she expressed grief towards the apathy of the govt to manage congestion
now that the flyover is causing a problem to her property suddenly her stand has changed
we expect more responsibility from an artist so great

Yes Pay more attention to Bangalore than any other city in the country as is the latest news making & most happening city not only in the country but in the whole world

Today it is the most revenue generating city in india. Centre has to directly pay attention to the development of the City

  20. Nitin Jagga says

For sure, Bangalore’s woes must be put up. The state government is just not ready to listen to anything, and i think nothing goes to the central government, because this place is in South India, and people here are really cut off from the centre. Please raise a Bangalore eye, there’ll be much much more news to make than Mumbai (probably).

  21. Angelmax says

Get a Bangalore Eye also please…The Roads, Transportation, and Powercuts are a big problem here.
    Let this be heard!
