Harleen Kaur is played by Giselle Montiero in Love Aaj Kal. Some movies  do come with surprises. Whoever saw Love Aaj Kal kept guessing as who played Harleen Kaur in the movie?

Rishi Kapoor has acted as Veer Singh in Love Aaj Kal. His love story with Harleen Kaur was a big surprise for the viewers. Harleen played by Giselle Monteiro in the movie. Rishi Kapoor narrates his love story with Harleen (Giselle Montiero) to Saif  imagining his younger self as Saif. So if you were surprised that's how we see Sardar Saif as younger Rishi Kapoor.

But again the audience gets surprised to see - the aged Harleen
shown with him in the climax is none other than his own real wife Neetu
Singh.

We all assume when films are being made, main starts (Giselle Montiero,
Rishi Kapoor) of the film ( Love Aaj kal) do meet each other during the
shooting. However, you will be surprised to know that this didn't
happen during the shooting of Love Aaj Kal.  Rishi Kapoor actually had
the opportunity to meet his on-screen lover Giselle Montiero ( Harleen Kaur) at the film's premiere in Delhi on July 30th night. I can very well assume that Giselle Montiero must have been extremely delighted to meet Rishi Kapoor.
