Poised upon this threshold of awareness,
In the spotlight of my world, I am Free.
My life and purpose finally clear…
For, that long-ago idea which once
Came whispering to my heart
Is the same enchanting vision
Which has safely led me here.
Now I smile recalling moments
When my dream seemed far away,
Smile at every sacrifice I made
With true perfectionist touch… As I chased it, pirouetting
past the point of no return,
Never truly understanding
Why…I wanted it so Much.
It danced on its tiny slippers
Through the hours, through the years…
As I kept my head and hope held High.
It kept …one step ahead.
Till I suddenly began to hear…
The murmur of approval
That drew me closer till my Dream and I
Twirled side by side …instead.
Now this moment-sweet success…
With doubts and fears forever Past…
I Have found my Dream….and with it…
I have found myself at last…
I am….Free…
I am ME !
