    hi chetna,
    good article for independence day. however people should think about this day everyday. why on yearly basis? now if u see the roads of india, you will find many flags scattered over the area without any respect. i think its a waste of time to celebrate the vent in this way. the event should hold the special place in our hearts. do u agree?
    then be my friend and we will have discussions on lot of other topics as well ! bye take care n see u later!

    Thanks for that comment you left about ‘Reflections.’ I am actually replicating my other blog on blogspot, I kind of blog-hop every 6months. I have been trying to find a blogging site that fits my needs and does not take too long to load :)..I think I finally found the site on rediff(their earlier blogs suck, no offence mods but they do). Anywhooo, went through your blog..I loved the post about dancing, a little correction though ’salsa’ is a street version of ’samba.’ Rest of the information is true. I have two left feet so, I usually keep off the dance floor. Why spoil other peoples fun? LoL. And now, I will have to shut my overly loose tongue.

    I told you in the story, this was not a Bollywood script. In fact, I tried to un-dramatise it as much as possible. It was a lot more dramatic, I can tell you! Problem is, in the life ordinary people, things don’t work out that way…
    The girl was an ordinary young girl, in her comunity, it was time to get married - she did…
    He was the same age - too young…
    Things happened which neither knew how to control - This was 1994…
    Even now, in semi-urban society, which the whole of Kerala still is, by and large, things do not work out very ideally or idealistically, for that matter…

    On the smoking, 17 hours and counting - no fresh supplies bought. tonight’s the hump - once I get over it, I am halfway there…ss
