101 Things to do before you die is the title of a very interesting little book ' some amazing stuff that are doable but very west-focussed. I actually thought of how we could count 101+ such things in India itself, forget the Asian region!
One such thing is to visit Coorg and Yelagiri in South India and look at the night sky! An Infinite number of them stretching to as far as the eyes can see. I remember sitting silently, till the sights and sounds of the night completely take over. I try and follow the route of one of the many glow worms that's playing hide and seek behind the coffee bushes. And then the sounds of the night - all kinds of insects and while in a city a lizard would make me jump up on a chair; and here I am completely unafraid of so many noises that I cannot even recognize!!

Priya,
I read ur post n yes even i admired d night sky during my yelagiri visit. Since travel is 1 of ur interests. You should probably take a walk thru some sholas in Ooty. I cant post any snaps here, but am sure if i could send me, it would be as soothing as you find the gulmohar tree to be. Travel has never failed to amaze me, so has photographs(esp Nature). Being from Ooty n now in a big city, i realize how beautiful my home town is.. A city life could probably never give me the luxury of knowing my own self.. Looking forward to more posts from you..
Regards,
Manoj
