when i checked your iLand late december or early in january, i found all your posts had vanished! for a while, i thought someone had played mischief (as had happened with me thrice!) now after reading you, i realize what had happened. nonetheless, i am glad you have posted them again: that gives us a chance to read such wonderful posts yet again! regards, dilip

I think the present avatar which Kush is having is that of Al Pacino and am not remembering whether he casted similar role in the famous movie ‘God Father’.

Eka, Mahabaleshwar deserves an explanation. The views i have hoisted are mostly of the Canyon side of the place, these canyons are formed by erosion by the winds and water. If you note, these hills are almost vertical, and that explains the absence of green. From the side the pics are taken there is enuff green, i should have projected a balanced view. And btw, the river is Krishna, this place is the origin of Krishna river. Another great River- Godavari also originates in Maharashtra, from somewhere near Nasik…. but that is another story
