  • Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you already have… keep smiling and have a nice day !!!

  • Waiting for your feedback on later episodes of Doctors.

  • In the rhythm of life, we sometime find ourselves out of tune, but as long as there are friends to provide the melody, the music plays on… thnx for the friendship we share … keep smiling … have a nice time.. :)

  • Hi
Thanx a lot for visiting me and leaving your valuable comments :)

  • For many days, your iland looked like a room with a window where venetian blind has been put up. Glad that that you lifted it up..I was wondering what secretive acts Nadira was engaged in)) ..PGR

  • Hi Nadira Ji, i am trying to comment on ur guest book, but it took me two days to check this complicated new rediff to comment :))) I am not complaining, but it is too much for me :D Anyways, i am fine Nadira ji . I hope u r also doing fine. I am trying to see some of my friends post but i am tired trying this new outlook and all.

  • Ekaji,

You talked about missing GB comments … Some of my blogs have disappeared … I can see only pictures in them … The text has disappeared God knows where .. :-( … And I am not getting comments on the post for moderation either … I checked Spam mail too but didn’t see any moderation messages … Don’t know what to do? .. :-(

  • Hi Eka ji,
Thanks for visiting my blogs after a long gap and for your discerning comments on my posts. I always await for your enlightened views on various subjects.

  • ha ha.. ok. i’ll try to find you from other ilanders and send you a request. q:

  • thanks for the comment and the gb entry and the ‘about’ entry and the dg2tnrb entry and the quote entry and.. god i am running out of breath.. pant.. pant… a big thank you in a small nutshell ekaji. and yes, sometimes the gb appears as new ones show up first and sometimes in the reverse order too.. and of course the date and time stamp dont show up neither on the gbs nor on the comments. that and a few more irritants need to be ironed out by rediff. like for eg. out of the 5 entries posted by you, 2 came into the comments section for moderation and 3 were residing in the spam folder. how does one explain that? :-)

  • Hi Eka…Gracias for that befitting comment to the poem “The Envoy…”. You know Eka, I myself have read that poem many times after posting it. Each time I read it, I find a renewed energy, courage and faith to stick to some meaningless struggles that we undertake. Zbigniew Herbert is one of the most outstanding poets I have read. Poems rarely succeed to impart a new vision. But this one does. I have an urge to post another one as well. Thanks a lot for the poem you posted on my post “Bits of Beauty”.. I loved reading, especially the last four lines. I wish I had concluded my post with those lines))

  • thanks for the comments Ekantapadhikaji. i shall buzz you when i post my next blog. and of course, thanks for the thanks. :-)

  • i have something to say in my new blog. pls do read it when u can. its pretty small. and yes, the thanks was due and genuine. :)

    Hey Ekaji,

Thanks a lot for the Teachers’ Day comment on my GB … I put up a new blog on Teachers’ Day but there seems to be some formatting problem with my iland … The blog is coming horizontally instead of the usual vertical one … So I had to scroll it horizontally to read … I don’t know whether you’ll be able to read it properly … :(

  • amr snh

We exchanged mails on another song. This is different. If u see category “India” of my blogs u can see the other two songs - “Ganga yamuna sangama samathala bhoomi” and “Bhaarathamennal paarin naduvil”. This is Jaya Jaya jaya Janma bhoomi”……………. all are good malayalam patriotic songs I love very much and yes everyone of that generation remembers these songs.

  • r v

i am speechless indeed ekaji. thanks for the wonderful comments on diff posts. pls give me some time to pour thro your blogs too. given the changed circumstances of when i wrote that blog about me commenting on friends blogs… and now… i’m not sure how much i’ll be able to keep up the word… but i’ll definitely try. have a great week ahead.

  • ThoughtWorks

It is never too late, as they say. May be it is too late, may be it is not.. but we only have our today to try and change our future.. theoretically speaking :) As long as there are some good souls like you trying their best and wishing for the best, there sure is hope!

  • Basant Pandey

Thanks for your comment on my post ma’am.

  • PGR NAIR

I am really scared to comment in iland…I don’t know why this ‘array’ Bhooth is after me. This was the comment I intended to post : ‘Men work together,” I told him from the heart, “Whether they work together or apart”…I loved the paradox in that line…Frost was a master in it….I was reading Tuft of flowers for the first time. Others are too familiar to me; surely they are great poems. Some of his short and pithy ones like “Fire and Ice” are also great…I like his detached and often unemotional commentary…..Thansk for reference to my posts…PGR

  • iridescence

Hi Nadira ji. thnx fr goin thru so many posts of mine :)
abt kalingini, frankly speaking, i dint kno d meaning, thnx fr pointing out that. As for that poem, It’s over means it’s over, no, it wasnt an actual phase of my relationship when i wrote it, just wrote it basis my past experiences.

    :((( Here’s my ‘Arrayed’ 2-paisa comment Ekaji,

tapioca ka bhi chip banta hai? Wow. What exotic foods u get in Gods own Country. Damn it, look at us Northies, poor souls, our creativity stops at Rajma. Sigh! Hmmm cooperative movements, I feel the success rates are pretty low. Cant think beyond a few successful ones. What an irony, even a cooperative to run successfully needs a entrepreneurs passion and dedication. That is needed to keep the bottom-line in shape, as exemplified by Amul. It succeeded because it is run like a full-fledged corporate. The social benefit angle is consequential, really. Another praiseworthy example is Sri Mahila Gram Udyog Lijjat Papad.

Shub kaamnaein, is din ke liye,
hamari pyaari, khubsurat Eka ke liye

Pal pal mein ho hazaaron saal,
    har kshan ho tumhara bemisal.

    Chehre par hamesha hansi rahe,
rooh ki gehrayon mein shanti bansi rahe.

Dil mein hamesha anand jaage rahein,
pyaar aur metta hamesha khilte rahein.

They were very attatched to each other.. I remember him standing by his wife smiling at her, while we talked.. he didn’t understand a word of what was being said. He did take care of her well. And I can recollect how anguished he was, when I met him at his place.

  • Jissy Thomas
