    I really doubt if Nandan Nilekani, Naina Lal Kidwai, Ganesh Natarajan & Ravi Venkatesan have read your book. If they had, they would not have given such comments on your website at Penguin Books.

    Sorry to say that i did not like your book. Its amazing to see that you used the following question on your blog;

    “Do you want to apply for a job and need to learn how to impress recruiters and interviewers?”

    What are you suggesting young graduates. To impress people to get a job. Very sad.

  2. Ravikanth says

    Your book is good for young graduates looking for a job in a voice based BPO. Nothing more.

    I read in the article that you are trying to sell your book via rediff!!!! Is that your main aim?

    hello nasha ( i hope it is not your assumed name) , the feature on rediff was fantastic. Most indians have accent problem, because we all have different native tongue which is pronounced differently. I am a keralite living in delhi. Unfortunately north indians have a feeling that the way they pronounce is the right way. frankly all have problems- due to which our spoken english becomes “incomprehensible” ( borrowed from BBC in one of their programmes about indian english). Thankfully i dont have a typical kerala accent- i corrected my accent quite early when in my early teens through cricket commentaries of BBC and Radio Australia. And there was an intense desire in me to speak English the way Englishmen do. I believe there is no end to continuous improvement. so looking forward to newer and better tips thru your blog

    Hey Nasha, I’m just trying to reconnect with my old pals from school and college. For many years I’ve been looking for info on my school buddy named Jungoo Fitter. He should be about 48-50yrs by now. If you happen to know such a person, please ask him to write to me or if you can forward some info about him, can you pls mail me at: thewritepath@rediffmail.com BTW, I really liked your work on the language especially pointing out the Indianness in our communication. Keep at it lady. I hope you strike gold someday.
