Women Not Being Frisked

Before starting, I would like to say that this blog is not meant
to offend any woman but to provide my view regarding lax security.



Delhi markets
were bombed again yesterday. Many lives were lost and many more injured. It has
been just two years since last bomb explosions occurred in Delhi in 2006. The politicians say that the
security is tight. The police officials also dole out the same story. But are
women being frisked?



The answer is no. How can we forget that a woman killed our late prime minister
Rajiv Gandhi? Terrorist groups are increasingly recruiting women to carry out
their game plans. If a man’s mind can be brainwashed, so is the case with a
woman. But still we are not frisking women and letting them go scot-free. I
myself visited many malls after the blasts.



What I found out on going there will surprise you. At a prominent mall, there
were both male and female guards. The male guards were searching male visitors
from head to toe. However, there were no closed enclosures for frisking women.
The lady guards were not frisking female visitors. They were just checking
their bags and that too randomly. The scene was same everywhere.



Can’t a lady bring a bomb to the market and cause the death of innocent
persons? Why not our security agencies understanding this point? Why not
separate closed enclosures are being created next to metal detector gates? Is
there any harm if a lady frisks a lady?
