Almost all of you must have gone to a party at least once in life. What do you see there? Most of the people stuff their plates with every available dish. And what do they do afterwards? Do they eat all that is available on their plate? Sadly, no. They eat some of the portions and then keep their unfinished plate in the waste bin. As a result, much of the food gets wasted.
The scene is the same in office. I am a regular at office cafeteria and what I do see there? Almost 60% of plates going to the waste bin have left-over foods.
When we can’t eat all the stuff, what’s the need of stuffing our plates with everything? Is someone forcing us to try out everything? Absolutely, not. The right way is to take only that stuff which we can eat. This way, we will be able to feed needy people and prevent them from dying.
What do you say? If you regularly waste food, after reading this blog, will you stop wasting precious food? Please do let me know. I would also like to hear from all my friends and would-be-friends on this.
