Its quite some time since I wrote my last post.Not that there was nothing to write but interest in new areas kept me pre occupied.During this period I missed my good friends Mr.Gulbir Rekhi and Mr. Narasimhan. I have also not seen any of their posts in the interim period.
I also did look around many other blog sites including Big adda, and others.Saw a few posts of interest, seroius topics, subjects I could rarely comprehend, Funny and so on.With Aussies coming in crazy cricket stuff will start.Formul;a 1 is in the last phase with Singapore coming up next week , a night race on street circuit , no formula 1 enthusiast would like to miss.I hope Arcot veerasamy and his tribe will ensure power is on to view the race.
With a powercut Tamilnad has never faced before its difficult to find time to work on computer leave alone your other activities.Any way I have decided to start again and be back .

Gayatri mantra
I came across a very good posting by Krishnaswamy Narasimhan which Inspired to add this Posting the following.
Actually use of gayatri mantra with Vyahritis that is Bhu ,Bhuvah Suvah in performing anuloma viloma pranayama helps in doing it with the ratio of 1:3:2. Inhale through the left nostril reciting Om Bhuh Om Bhuvah till dhiyoyonaprachotayat to complete puraka. Then commence reciting omapoh, Jyotirasoh to bhur bhuvah surom and again complete oneround from Om Bhuh till end to perform Kumbaka and recite From Om Bhuh to end third time performing rechaka through right Nostril. Repeat above by inhaling through right nostril and exhale through left after performing Kumbaka as above.Normally three such round are performed during sandhya vandana after which one starts Gayatri mantra japa.This ensure equal flow of Breadth in Both the nostrils and activtes sushumna whccih enables the mind to Focus on the mantra while doing the Japa.This is the reason in most religious and vedic Karma after Prayer to Lord Ganesha one performs a pranayama as above.But Today no one follows the correct procedure but it ha become a ritual to touch thenose and continue.

Voice Of India
I have been watching the above show in Star and during ad. breaks switch over to Zee to watch SAREGAMAPA.Some times (Of late mostly)the ad times coincide and we have no choice except to switch over some other Channel.
In voice of India I have beesn seeing the over emotional scnes when a partipant has to go and Judges over reacting to this.The climax was in last episode when One Mr. Toshi was eliminated baed on the SMS ’s Received.The Judges felt that one of them should a veto power to call back a participant who is rejected by Public but whom they feel should not .Programme director went to the extent of appologising for creating the kind of format that has left the fate of the singers in the hands of Janta.If veto power is given the show can be eternal. My full sympathies to Mr.Toshi who was good but so are the others. Its not selection but elimination.Ultimately ther can be one voice of India and all out of the final 12 will have to go at one time or the other may be earlier or late but definitely there can be only one one winner.May be they should have decided to have one each from each gender.
Participants should realise that having come thus far is an achievement.Even if they win the contest do they think that they will be a Kishore da or lataji next day.They have to work hard and with lot of luck they may reach a closer level.There have been so many wiiners in the past.What happened ? except Shreya Goshal none of them have made it big.
Finally Judges , Show director and Anchor hould remember that they are there because the public or the Janta liked their work.If public is not appreciative the show will be a flop , their pictures can be a flop and so can their career.Unlike Voice of India ,In SAREGAMAPA the Judges (KNOWN as Gurus) have shown better understanding and appreciation of the participant irrespective of whose team they belong to.But I suugest both of them will do well to watch the IDEA STAR SINGER Show in ASIANET.The judges in depth knowledge of classical and light music, their comments and feed back to participants make the show all the more enjoyable.

Indian coach
Our Loyalty to Britishers still remains even after more than 50 years of independence has been amply demonstrated by BCCI and especially By Shri Sunil Gavaskar by bringing in John Emburey who has failed as a coach even in English County.Ford is praised by South African whom he has coached. If he is so good why did they sack him?
None of them have experience of dealing with the players from Asian countries.Here its man management which is more essential than the game itself. Not only egos of senior players but also that of Ex. players who were never good in their hey days and who are no good with mikes on date have to be satisfied.
Australians have conclusively proved that their system churns out good players. It is not necessary that it may work for us but can be studied and modified to our requirements.
Dave Whatmore would have been a better choice compared to the two who have been shortlisted.He has good experience as a coach. But everyone knows about Gavaskar’s allergy to Australians and unfortunately he happens to be in the helm of affairs along with his other good old friends ravi Shastry and Vengsarkar.There is no better way to squander money for BCCI without getting results than appointing one of the two as a coach.
Indian cricket will improve only all ex players are removed from active participation in team, Coach selection etc and senior players told just play and mind their business instead of politicking.
Let’s pray some sense will prevail.

Business ethics is the same as plain old ethics.People say they want integrity.Ironically majority of them don’t act with the integrity they expect from others.John maxwell says

We do what we must to win
We always rationalize our choices with relativism or what we can term as situational ethics.One can give lot of examples but that is not necessary here.Some are always ethical, some are mostly Ethical some are some what ethical , Some are Seldom ethical and finally some are never ethical. Last category is the easiest to deal and I personally prefer as we can be on guard. Its the others whom I find difficult to deal and they happen to be the majority.
Having said all this what is ethics?
