FRIENDS
LIFE IS MADE RICHER NOT BY MONEY BUT BY FRIENDS.

THEY ARE GOING TO STAY WITH YOU TILL THE END.

SO TAKE CARE TO WATER THE TREE OF FRIENDSHIP

LEST IT MAY WITHER AND DIE WITHOUT A BLIP.

FRIENDS ARE LIKE THE FRAGRANCE OF FLOWERS,

THEY ARE A PLEASURE TO SEE ,AND REMEMBER, WHEN THEY ARE NOT THERE

SO TREAT THEM LIKE THE PRECIOUS PEARLS THEY ARE

NO MATTER WHETHER THEY ARE NEAR OR FAR.

The Quitter
When you’re lost in the Wild, and you’re scared as a child,
And Death looks you bang in the eye,
And you’re sore as a boil, it’s according to Hoyle
To cock your revolver and . . . die.
But the Code of a Man says: “Fight all you can,”
And self-dissolution is barred.
In hunger and woe, oh, it’s easy to blow . . .
It’s the hell-served-for-breakfast that’s hard.

“You’re sick of the game!” Well, now that’s a shame.
You’re young and you’re brave and you’re bright.
“You’ve had a raw deal!” I know ? but don’t squeal,
Buck up, do your damnedest, and fight.
It’s the plugging away that will win you the day,
So don’t be a piker, old pard!
Just draw on your grit, it’s so easy to quit.
It’s the keeping-your chin-up that’s hard.

It’s easy to cry that you’re beaten ? and die;
It’s easy to crawfish and crawl;
But to fight and to fight when hope’s out of sight ?
Why that’s the best game of them all!
And though you come out of each gruelling bout,
All broken and battered and scarred,
Just have one more try ? it’s dead easy to die,
It’s the keeping-on-living that’s hard.

Like a needle in a haystack,
true friends are hard to find.
That’s why I’m so thankful that I can call you mine.
Whenever I need a shoulder you’re there to catch my tears.
You’ve kept my many secrets,
Throughout the past four years.
You’ve been there through my afflictions,
You’ve witnessed my defeats.
I’ll remember all the good times,
And pray the bad ones don’t repeat.
With you my heart is honest,
but there’s one thing I never told you.
Thank you for everything you’ve done
There’s no one else like you.
No one that could ever be a
true “best” friend like you!

WHY GOD GAVE US FRIENDS

Why GOD Gave Us Friends

GOD knew that everyone needs
Companionship and cheer,
He knew that people need someonemy picturesmy pictures
Whose thoughts are always near.

He knew they need someone kind
To lend a helping hand.
Someone to gladly take the time
To care and understand.

GOD knew that we all need someone
To share each happy day,
To be a source of courage
When troubles come our way.

Someone to be true to us,
Whether near or far apart.
Someone whose love we’ll always
Hold and treasure in our hearts.

That’s Why GOD Gave Us Friends!

                         A SHORT STORY

A PERSON WAS NEUROTIC FOR YEARS.HE WAS DRIVEN BY ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, AND SELFISHNESS. EVERYONE HE MET COUNSELLED HIM TO CHANGE HIS WAYS. HE BECAME HYPER CONSCIOUS ABOUT HIMSELF AND WORKED HARD TO REFORM HIMSELF; BUT THE MORE HE TRIED , THE WORSE HE SEEMED TO BE GETTING. THISGAVE HIM A COMPLEX. HE SOUGHT OUT FRIENDS WHO WOULD UNDERSTAND HIM. THEY KEPT URGING HIM TO CHANGE,AND THIS HURT HIM.HE FELT HELPLESS,AND FRUSTRATED.

ONE DAY HE MET A STRANGER AT A PARTY.THEY BECAME FRIENDS VERY SOON.ONE FINE DAY THE DEPRESSED MAN ASKED  ‘YOU KNOW ME WELL BY NOW; HOW COME YOU HAVEN’T SAID ANYTHING ABOUT MY SHORTCOMINGS   ?’THE OTHER MAN REPLIED,’ WHATS  THERE TO SAY? I LOVE YOU THE WAY YOU ARE. PLEASE DON’T CHANGE FOR MY SAKE.’

THE PERSON WASPLEASANTLY SURPRISED. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE HE HEARD A DIFFERENT TUNE. HIS TENSION AND COMPLEX BEGANTO EVAPORATE.IT WAS AS IF A BIG BURDEN WAS LIFTED FROM HIS SHOULDERS. AND HE SOON REALIZED THAT HE WAS BEGINING TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.

GUYS ISN’T THIS A LOVELY STORY. LET US ACCEPT OUR FRIENDS AS THEY ARE RATHER THAN TRYING TO MOULD THEM INTO SOMETHING WE WANT COZ THEY ARE  HERE IN THIS WORLD TO  BE THEIR UNIQUE SELVES.                    /

it is said

it is said that appearance deceives.it often does. a thing that looks good is not necessarily good for use. the real test of a machine is not how it looks but how it works.the wise person will not be led by impressions, but will know how to evaluate persons, events& things correctly.a beautiful face is no guarantee of goodness of heart , nor are attractive clours in food proof of its good taste.take care then not to be led by appearances. go by the quality.

YOU CAN’T HAVE EVERYTHING

You’ll never find perfection for the world’s not made like that.
And if it were i think in time you’d find life rather flat.
So don’t expect a heaven. Leave your grumbles on the mat.
You can’t have evrything.
In those we live and work with there are faults that irritate- but don’t forget that though there may be much to aggravate -
There is oh so much to love and to appreciate.
 YOU CAN’T HAVE EVERTHING………..
