Today, in a telephonic interview to an Indian
news channel, former ISI chief General Hamid Gul pointed
out FBI’s inefficiency. With reference to FBI, his remarks may be
correct; but the rest of the arguments he used regarding India’s
internal affairs clearly highlighted the general lack of diplomatic
skills of the pro-Soviet Pakistani Jehadis.
               While reacting to India’s demand for handing over of 21
suspected terrorists, he made lose statements regarding the
functioning of Indian police. Ironically, he was talking about
judicial trials. Entire world knows how ridiculous Pakistani judiciary
is. Like a kindergarten kid, Hamid Gul said, “Should Pakistan ask for
the custody of Shreekant Purohit ?” This childish statement is
sufficient to expose the ignorance of Pakistani armymen regarding the
term TERRORISM. If Pakistan is to maintain its dignity, it must ask
its administrators & armymen to do some homework before giving
statements to media. These officers need NOT poke their nose in
India’s internal affairs.

               Kashmiri muslim extremists have entered the maze. They have learnt no lesson from failure of Sikh agitation regarding “Dera Sachchaa Sauda”. Shekh Aziz has died just like that. Muslim extremists have simply overestimated themselves : ” बंधी मुठ्ठी लाख की खुली तो निकली ख़ाक की “
               Ironically, failure of Sikh & Muslim extremists is being viewed as victory for Hindu extremists. ” बंधी मुठ्ठी ” of Hindu extremists is yet to be opened …!!!

          Gujrat BJP should have exhibited a similar courage while handling Narendra Modi. But it buckled like a spineless creature & now we all know the sorry state in which Gujrat BJP is today.                 Mayawati as Prime Ministerial candidate is surely a losing bet. Yesterday, media asked BJP leader Yashawant Sinha, “How do you see Mayawati as Prime Ministerial candidate for NDA ?” Sinha simply brushed it aside as a meaningless question. He reaffirmed that L.K. Advani is the only Prime ministerial candidate for NDA. There’s no point in branding NDA’s stand as मनुवादी mentality. Why couldn’t the veteran Marxist leader A.B. Vardhan convince Congress & its allies to accept Mayawati as Prime Ministerial candidate for UPA ? The fact is : Not many Indians are keen on seeing dalit leader as Prime Minister of India. Congress won’t accept BSP’s support if Mayawati insists on becoming PM even for a short span of the next 9 months !
                That’s the tragedy of dalit politics. Market driven economy has simply reduced the effectiveness of dalit unity. Just raise the issue of dalit-reservations in private organizations & see how market reacts to it. Mayawati type dalit leaders have simply become opprtunists. They are only safeguarding the interests of creamy dalit layer. If you are really interested in dalit welfare, then instead of insisting on dalit PM, insist on having a PM who will safeguard the interests of dalit community. But dalits, who have deviated a lot from Kanshiram, don’t seem to have a competent leadership. This fact has been highlighted by their stand on “percentile scheme” for admissions in Maharashtra colleges.

On one hand, the ManMohan Singh Government could not push forward the nuke-deal. On the other hand, finance ministry is unable to find a way to maintain the promised growth rate. More than 85% of the Indian market is in an overdraft mode. That’s why Congress is looking forward to an escape route through early elections. Things will NOT change even if BJP comes to power. There is not much scope for creating credit via religious extremism route. Under these conditions, BJP is simply exhibiting lack of patience. It is unnecessarily taking inflation-burden on its shoulders. Prudence suggests that even if Marxists withdraw support, BJP should ensure the survival for the Congress-led government. Then only the finance ministry can implement fiscal discipline in Marxist dominated constituencies !

नेपाळमधे नुकत्याच झालेल्या निवडणुकांमधे माओवादी नेते प्रचंड ह्यांच्या पक्षाला सरकार स्थापन करण्याइतके मताधिक्य मिळाले. नवीन सरकारच्या स्थापनेबरोबर नेपाळमधील राजेशाही अधिकृतरित्या सम्पुष्टात आली. “राजे ज्ञानेन्द्र ह्यांच्यावर खटले भरण्याऐवजी त्यांच्यासाठी Graceful Exit निर्माण करण्यास आपण प्राधान्य देऊ” असे सांगून प्रचंड ह्यांनी राजकीय परिपक्वता दाखवली आहे. आणिबाणीनंतर जनता पार्टीने इंदिरा गान्धींवर खटले भरण्याचा आचारटपणा करून आपल्याच पायांवर कुर्हाड़ मारून घेतली होती. १९५० सालच्या भारत-नेपाळ समझोत्यावर फेरविचार व्हावा असे नेपाळच्या नवीन सरकारला वाटते. भारतीय सेनेत गुरख्यांची भरती करण्याचे कलम रद्द व्हावे अशी भूतानचीही इच्छा आहे. तेव्हां दुसर्या देशांमधे काडया सारणारे कलम रद्द करण्यासाठी भारताने पुढाकार घ्यायला हवा. मार्क्सवाद्यांच्या नादी लागून भा.ज.पा.ने विनाकारण आपल्या जाहीरनाम्यात प्रचंड ह्यांच्या विरोधात भुमिका घेतली आहे. भा.ज.पा.ने आपल्या हिंदुत्ववादी भूमिकेची तीव्रता कमी केली तरी मतदारांची काही हरकत नाही ही गोष्टच मार्क्सवाद्यांच्या पोटदुखीचे मुख्य कारण आहे. म्हणूनच हया ना त्या प्रकारे भा.ज.पा.च्या खांद्यावर Religious Extremism चे ओझे टाकायचेच हया हिशोबाने कोंग्रेस आणि मार्क्सवाद्यांनी व्यूहरचना सुरु केली आहे. विविध राज्यांमधील सत्तासमीकरणे एकच गोष्ट स्पष्ट करतात : मार्क्सवाद्यांच्या टेकूवर उभे रहाणारे कोंग्रेसचे सरकार हे भा.ज.पा. प्रणीत सरकारपेक्षा जास्त खर्चिक ठरते !!!

                       Plenty of media-space is being allotted to Noida double murder case. Television viewers & newspaper readers are acting as jury. So far the jury verdict is "Noida Police are incompetent" & "Dr. Rajesh Talwar is being unnecessarily harrased." Jury also feels that Media is churning out baseless statements. Now CBI team has taken over & within a day these experts have removed a portion of wall that had the imprint of a blood-stained palm. Wow! Hats off to CBI’s SCIENTIFIC temper ! Jury must be very much convinced that there’s a lot of difference between Noida Police & CBI.

                      A section of jury is unhappy about remarks of Noida Police that Aarushi was a characterless girl. But police maintain that those remarks were based upon the statements made by Rajesh Talwar during interrogation. Rajesh told police that he used to have drinks with Hemraj. Media is talking about illicit relationship between Rajesh & Aneeta Durrani. That too is based upon the statements made by Rajesh during police interrogation. In that case, emotional stability of Rajesh Talwar needs to be checked. It is NOT media that is fabricating these stories. So much of investigation-drama is now making us doubt whether Aarushi has really been murdered !!!

                  Through his memoirs, the former white house press secretary Scott McClellan has criticised G. W. Bush on many issues. While McClellan’s sincerity & integrity is beyond dispute, the question remains : “How close is he to TRUTH ?” Almost 80% Americans had given consent to war on Iraq. Bush alone or Republicans cannot be held responsible for that. Many Democrats were party to that decision. oreover, clellan must have incorrectly opposed president’s veto on Iraq. Through that veto, white house had ensured that a whopping sum of $124 bn does NOT fall into the hands of third-rate criminals betting on Iraq. By opposing that veto, McClellan had become part of organized crime. That is the reason why he lost many points & eventually moved out of president’s inner circle of policy makers. Many Democrats were stumped on the issue of veto on Iraq. So, this need NOT the dead end for McClellan. He can still collect plenty of points through other issues. For example, he must oppose Free Tibet movement, If he unnecessarily supports that movement, he will again lose points. Afterall, American left & right has to collectively fight against organized crime. If you make correct choices, we will definitely support you on war against evil …
