Our friendship Anniversary
When two ppl share a bonding in any relationship its always nice to remember those special days and dates that occurred on the same day of the previous years. That's what we refer as "Anniversaries" I guess. Isn't it friends ????
Today, when I signed into my mail account in the afternoon, I saw two ecards for me since its always been nice to get cards from friends the first thing one want is to open it and read ahead of checking other mails I quickly clicked the cards. By the time I was opening the card I was not knowing that a surprise will be waiting for me. And the surprise was quickly revealed when her wish popped up through the opening card saying "Happy Friendship Anniversary".
I was like taken a back at first Its not that I don't remember that we had met a year back at the same time (month) but to remember particularly the date and that too wishing in a very special manner made me speechless Its hard to believe but I was like filled with tears that very moment
Its been long journey (although appears too short ' jaise kal hi ki baat ho) of one eventful year in her company we like in any other relationship had our highs and lows too but what was important perhaps and we considered that ahead of all other things is that we two enjoyed each others company to the fullest. I used to remember (and I still tease her at times) when during initial stage of our friendship I use to ask her did you (she) miss me and my this question use to irritate her a lot and she use to reply saying "why shud I miss you" During this one year I found unique blend of affection, loyalty, love, respect, trust and loads of fun in her friendship.
Now today on this public forum, may I take this opportunity to thank her from the core of my heart for all those wonderful moments we shared during the last one year. I know at times I cannot prove myself upto her expectation but I guess that's part and parcel in any relationship two ppl share
I will like to dedicate these lines to her on this very occasion :

P.s ' Friends, I had purposely not named her in my blog for the simple reason that I don't know whether she will like to be named or not. However, I am sure she will be equally happy as I will be to receive your good wishes / your motivating comments on this very special day.
