Catch Race everyday ..

As I told in my first blog that I am a german expatriate, its not that I am sent here against my will, the fact is that I chose to come here, in desire to experience new culture and expand my horizon, But seems that the first barrier in adjustment to this culture is that I am not able to catch-up with clock driven life style..

Life in Germany moves in the fast lane In India life is comparatively simple and slow even in the capital city..I try desperately to save each second… right from the time I wake up to gulping the last pieces forced into my mouth as breakfast spilling half of the milk down my throat.. at times even missing breakfast. I run to the train station to catch train to office During my run to station, as clock snuggles to move a sec, I ping my husband for the exact time our mind is enshrouded with a deep desire to make it to the train as the next train on same route is after 28 mins which is a huge amount of time to keep waiting here… for the entire stretch from our house to train station time becomes our master Everyday when we just make it to train..I thank God and promise to respect time… for I know time is eternal… hope I will soon gain integrity enough, to run with time and not become slave of time And will win the CATCH RACE

Time ! I have never understood what it is. I never have any spare time or any busy time, for i dont know whether i can have something that is not material. And, not being material doesnt necessarily mean it is abstract. When we say we measure time, most times we are measuring differntial time, the elapsed time between two events. Since i cannot understand time, cannot measure it, i never have too much or too little of it. Aint i lucky !

I have also heard comments (mostly negative) from expatriates. All of them felt that India is the best place to live.
