Sarre Jahan se acha Hindusita humara humara..

The other day we were having discussion with our
colleagues about the India
and Indian economy. I can say that it was more of a comparison of life style in
India
and abroad, specifically speaking between Indian life and German life.

Some how all of us found German life very simple and nice. To mention few
points:

- State Health Insurance

- Unemployment allowance

- round the clock water and power supply

- Excellent public transportation system

- best roads in the world.

- Strong Infrastructure in all the cities

- Very disciplined life.. people follow rule.. and believe that rules are made
following them and not for breaking them.

and the list is long… then moving on from all the positive side of life
here, all of realized that we all miss our parents or family our friends out
there..

Then we all just wondered why is India not progressing and why don't we have
these basic facilities available to everyone in India..

Apart from the things which govt can manage there are things for which we cant blame government i mean things like cleanliness & discipline are our own responsibility .. If you try to get answers to these problems,
I bet you will end up in a void.

I think that the kind of education we get makes us
more ferocious… Makes us to compete and feel happy when you beat somebody… It
fails to inculcate discipline and respect for system as whole.. we think that
whatever we are thinking is the best.. and this is the reason why we fail to
understand that we are suppose to stop at red light even it is late in night

While we were discussing all this one colleague said
that the "Population explosion" is the
reason for all these problems.. to this the other friend said that he is not
convinced that population is a reason.. bcoz he thought that our country has
huge land area and the area is sufficient for all of us.. Then we compared the
land area to population .. it came that we have population density of 329
people per sq Km where as Canada
had 3.2 p/sq km.. this contrast was tooo much for all of us to accept.. Then
discussion moved towards means to control this problem.. Some said that like China
there should be a strict rule to restrict the no. of children per family.. but
then it was hinted that such a drastic step is impossible in democratic
country.. A country where govt doesn't think beyond 10 years.. 5 years when it
is in power and next 5 years when it wants to be in power… Why would
government make rules to curb their vote banks I know you wont get any answer
to these questions

I just hope that we can say “Saare jahan se acha hindusita humara” without having any doubts about it..I sincerely wish
that God fulfill my this wish..

Note:: the blog is not complete i have lot to under under this heading .. i am just short of time today.. will get back soon.. till then take care.. have fun..

Though only a few poins where i disagree, first is the value system..Indians are comparatively less addicted to alcohol, smoke etc.

Secondly, i see so many single old people here, but in India even if the youngsters r not so concerned abt their elders, atleast out of social pressure, they look after them.

Similarly the elderly folks feel more repsonisble for their kids in India..

I think we shld learn to respect public places and people.so that there is no dirtying the roads ,no spitting , no horns ,no jay walking no cheating no bribery ,hope we are polite to others ,the change should be in each of us.

Agreed on some points..especially our education system..which emphasizes more on competing rather than understanding the flow!
