Déjà vu
This feeling has come to me many times. There are incidents that happen or places I visit, which give a feeling that I have lived those moments before There is a sense of recalling the same event from the past. This is called déjà vu.
Long time before, I had had this feeling and then I decided that I should observe it for some more time. Yesterday I was talking to a friend, and when I made one statement, the feeling of déjà vu came and I knew exactly what he would reply. And he did exactly the same. This has happened many times before. I think this must have happened to you also . Isn't it amazing! Can some of you please explain how this happens?
The history reportedly dates back to 18th century. Survey states 70% of people experienced it at least once. I too had this many time.
As to the explanation, many ambiguity exists. One among the theory is Neural theory,in the late 20th and early 21st Centuries, it was widely believed that déjà vu could be caused by the mis-timing of neuronal firing. This timing error was thought to lead the brain to believe that it was encountering a stimulus for the second time, when in fact, it was simply re-experiencing the same event from a slightly delayed source. A number of variations of these theories exist.
We have been on this earth before.,…we have had these conversations before…..
It has happened to ME as well.
Many things, many places…..I visited, I feel I been there.
Yes, it happens to almost everyone , though the frequency may vary from person to person.
But I dont think we are able to see or predict future when we have deja-vu.. its just that we feel that we have undergone the same situation some times back in our life.. This is my experience on deja-vu.
Well as far as my knowledge goes it is some thing very super natural. Why I calling it as super natural is because of the fact that the phenomenon has not yet been proven scientifically, this is some thing very psychic, the way Nastredamus (the gr8 astrologer) predicted future is the same way we foresee/experience it. The only difference being yesterday and today plus the extent a person can explore his psychic abilities. Today we have a hell lot of things to do then see the future but in the past Nastredamus was a committed astrologer (along with his medical abilities), any ways we all know him as a astrologer only. What I mean to say is that, he committed his life doing all those things like predicting future, in other words we can say that his mind was working in a single direction and not in multiple direction (like we do).
Believe me or not I had this experience many I times.
Stuff it more with some scientific things… language is smooth but then with those jargons come the jerk and thus some weight in the writing.
I hope you do not want to know about the science of subconscious mind, which acts as a catalyst in this case. But same thing in the form of familiarity, experience, typecast and intuition makes more sense and does not feel like a lump in the throat.
Yes, it happens with everyone; but, the feeling that it occurred is typical one.

ya.. I felt a lot of time…. any statement or action do makes us feel it already happened before…
I am yet to experience it. Seen a few movies and read somewhere about this.
yeh….it happens with almost everyone but……….there is no scientific prof….there is many reason in para-phychology but not proven!

I think it happens to everyone. I tried reading some explations on the web and found the Wiki quite useful. Good fun reading about Spirits, Reincarnation etc. :)) Do visit the link, it is quite interesting.
rahul, we are not playing our roles in the present birth for the first time but have done so earlier,many a time.We interact with our fellow human beings and on the basis of our accounts of actions, we get new birth and get a set of relations and friends,. those who are our relkatives or friends now, in the present birth, have been associated with us even earlier… so when we meet people, the inner power of soul recognises the othere person, even if we have not met them in present birth. Your experiences are supporting the eternal nature of human soul,,, it remains ””alive”” even if body dies… it is immortal… such experiences, as you feel… are mostly happening with some good type of souls….ranjit

yeah i too felt that some time and its really amazing.
perhaps some soul connections,,viberations of the place or body,,,,some where some link gets on..turn on….but you are right it do happens
