GM! Rahul, you have chosen a good topic for the recent post. In my opinion, to become financially well educated and then trusting our own wisdom is the best option but since this may not be possible for all the masses… options line ULIP, SIP etc are developed to provide such group of people alternatives for traditional investment options such as FD/RD, gold etc. and as every thing comes with a price so does the profit quotient of finance co.
Kim ji, mujhe sharminda na karen :) Jitni khushi apko hui, utni hi mujhe bhi hui apke posts ko fir se jiwant kar ke… Itna maja aya ki mai kya bataun :) Bahut achcha laga ki aapko ye posts achche lage. Tyoharon ke liye apko aur parivar ko hamari hardik shubhkamnayen…

Your post on Fida Hussain is revealing. Complete personality traits of none of the celebrities, even great political figures like Mahatma Gandhi or Nehru, ever come out. Fearless journalists like Khushwant Singh sometimes do provide us glimpse - but only a glimpse!
Are you there at Facebook also? Many Rediff friends have collected there.
Hi Rahul..
how r u? hiwz life?! didnt know u were back on iland blogging. :) have always loved reading ur posts and will follow them too again.

Indeed, your mom is very beautiful in looks as well as the nature you have described of her…looking forward to read more about her ….there is lots to observe, relate and learn from it…….and yes, must say, your post are like WC matches at the time of board exams…. not willing to miss one and can’t afford to miss the other :p
Ok, thanks a lot… And now I have been asked by them to edit and remove specific details of the course because perhaps they want to maintain a surprise element. So I edited it…
It was a nice experience to go through your review of J.Krishnamurthi’s book. I’ve read some of his works; his main stress being on attention and awareness. Osho also used to emphasise on awareness, as also the present masters like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
enjoyed reading this light hearted post after long time by you……through this post you hv proved that way to heart is via stomach………or shall i say tongue :)
I see that you’re still very much active at Rediff, though as a blogging platform, it’s almost on its last breaths. To keep alive the memory of the good, old days of Rediff Iland, a group by this name has been started on Face Book by the old Ilanders. Are you there at FB?
Regarding error of judgement and Women’s Day gift, our top politicians have the habit of putting blame elsewhere. Their basic concern is not doing good things, but creating impression that good things are being done so as to solidify their vote banks.
I’m also continuing here at Rediff Blog, though not as active as before. Pl. do read some of my posts and offer your views.
Lata is still here Rahul..though not very active but not left yet ..:) now writing on Facebook,Openbooksonline etc too. :)

Old ideas, woven into new patterns are always refreshing.. truly we have become so result oriented in today’s times…we have no time or inclination for a small deed, or a small thought..
Is our life worthless: most of us have encountered this question… and though i consider you to be much better rational thinker….would like to share the answer which i have derived from my reasoning is that ………fulfilling our duties in life (which includes making money for our family and betterment of society) gives a satisfaction of serving the purpose of our life and once our soul is satisfied and regret free it automatically diminishes the curiosity and want for more….and thus moksha (the final goal)………..it is same as relief that one feels after giving 100% in exams and is relaxed about results (they dont die but attain moksha)… as compared to one who has half heartedly struggled in exams and is haunted till result is forced on him.(they die….to return back to the life cycle)
