The Don (of sms)
11 mulkon ki police Don ki talash mein hai, magar Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai. Aap bade khushnaseeb ho, ki Don khud aapko sms kar raha hai.
Thus said a sms to my iLand friends. And then a series of 'Don' sms forwards kept coming in after that. And the name Don stuck to me. And not without reason. For the sms figures will vouch for that.
8329 sms sent by me in a single month (January, 2007). Wow . Even I couldn't believe it at first. I used to send about 3000-4000 sms per month on an average, last year. The year 2007 has seen high growth.
Am doing a small math:
v If each sms was of one meter length, I would have almost reached
v That makes it 268 sms sent every single day of the month.
v Out of the 37 friends to whom I send sms regularly, 16 are iLanders. Wow.. way to go iLanders that is almost 43%. And apart from that there are 4-5 iLanders to whom I send sms only once in a while. Say about 5-10 sms a month. And one iLander who is away from
v Subtracting 329 sms used to reply and send blogs etc. it means I am sending 8000 sms as forwards. So 8000 / 37 means, 216 sms sent to every iLand friend. That means 7.2 sms every single day. (I work on Sundays too, as far as sms are concerned; for any other work on Sunday, I have only one reply ' too lazy to work today.)
As for all of you who must be wondering what my sms bill would be like? Aah, lets keep it a secret. If you still persist on asking, then lemme put it this way ' by the blessings of Dhirubhai.

You also pray to god, that in your next birth you get a friend like me. 
There was this one sms which perfectly symbolizes me. I guess, my sms-friends will be able to identify with it better.

Thank you friend. As such I don't expect anything in return for sending sms to all of you people. But then once in a while do sms me . say once or twice a month. Hope I am not asking for too much. Some friends do keep writing and replying and sending me forwards too. I thank them. But some choose to remain totally silent. Sometimes I wonder, am I sending all those sms to a wall or wot? I mean no reaction whatsoever? Please give some sort of feedback friends
