Part of Life!

Today morning I tried to login to my iland. It took a loooooooong time to load my iland and other ilands as well. I was waiting patiently for the progress bar to move but it was dead slow. Damn! My virtue of patience was withering slowly and steadily. I try to branch to another iland fretfully. The same story repeats itself. Suddenly a great Enlightenment dawned on me!! Just like Buddha had under the Bodhi Tree!! What is that I am going to achieve by always hanging around on Iland? Why the silly sense of attachment as if it is my home? Why sticking to Iland all the time when there are a whole world of portals of blogging and loads and loads of entertainment available on the Net?

Afterall it is a pitfall on my part hanging out in this place too much :-( As Rediffiland.com is too slow nowadays I envisaged the following wisely….
1.By reading blogs all the time Im missing out on all the other interesting websites and entertainments on net.
2. Most Blogs are amateur writings. Reading amateur writing all the time is not going to do any good to my language and vocabulary skills. I need to read more of famous books and bestsellers.
3. Many fab bloggers and most of my friends are not active any more. Probably they had a burnout out of too much blogging and Ilanding
4. Many Ilanders have been frustrated by Array’s arrogant invasions and have switched over to other blogspaces or even have created their own blogspaces.
I calmed down and consoled myself that it is alright even if I’m not able to do Ilanding today. As I finished typing this blog I notice that my finger involuntarily kept refreshing the page to load Rediffiland ;-) Certain things in life cannot be changed. Its all part of life!!!

You are also a thinking person :) I am also like you… Don”t worry be happy. Iland is because of its people, not because of any technical facilitation… It will go till we go… Stay here :) Regards, (Rahul)

I like being here. Don”t yet feeling like leaving this space, although in the new Iland space that they transported some us to, it does feel a little lonely. I”m waiting for all of you there. Hurry up, will you?:-)

Nice observations. Iland can be quite addictive. I”ve been away just because I got caught up in other things …

Oh this is a great learning! some good work :P. I for one would confess I have alternate blog spaces; and for the moment have stuck my fingers in too many pies. More than that I can handle. Plus inability to access iland from office keeps me waiting for the whole weekend when i think I”d pen something; but the blank document stares back at me. Hey but don”t miss out on other blogs/pleasures; they could give you an equal feel of home. They are wonderful too, but I hope you wouldn”t leave your space deserted for good!! Cheers to you!!

Friend, there is nothing in the world goes waste. Your ilanding may triger something in you, develop a communicator in you - and it would be get expressed in someother aspects of life. It makes you a thinker. But also the question to be asked is - ” How much time I invest on iLand, when I have so much other thing to do in life ?” Don”t miss it and at the same time Don”t die for it too. Make a time slot and balance. Like the statement from the recently released book ” Unposted Letter by T T Rangarajan”… ” Life is all about Balancing”. Let’’s Balance friend, Let’’s not miss anything. Thanks.

I agree, Tamillini, that most blogs are amateur writings, but there are ohers too with best writing skills. However, what I like most is that many of the bloggers pour out there heart and I feel a sort of kinship with them. And it is good that ultimately you also decided to post your expressions here…..thanks.
