(The Epic replying to the future)

    Kalyanadbhuta gatraya                                                        

    Kamitartha pradayine

    Srimad Venkatanathaya                                                                

    Srinivasayatee  Namahah //

         O Venkateshwara! Lord of Seven hills

         Thou art pervades worldly welfare wondrous

         On thou art bestowal us our willful desires;

         O Srinivasa! We duly offer our salutations.

Generally it is opined that the big epics Ramayana and Mahabharata are the mythologies representing the human values for our life times. And most of our authors after attaining some years of experience would like to take one of the above two myths and rewrite to characterize its roles, in search of human values. My long desire was to seek out some other epic story, apart from the above said epics, and make research of such an epic story to the depth for finding out everlasting life vision, and  evaluation for all times for the younger generations.

The Inspiration

You might have visited to Tirupati. When I visited first time (1993) along with my family, I had been immersed myself in deep thinking. Why thousands of people are coming daily here to take darshanam of Sri Venkateshwara?  What precious things they carry back physically and mentally while returning, by offering Him vows and performing rituals? What is that power here which attracts thousands of people from all around the world daily? That was my first darshanam of Lord Venkateshwara with my wife and children. When I came out of the temple and sat in front of the temple premises, while eating the laddu prasadam all of a sudden had a flash genuine view about this legendary place, and learnt there is a Divine Message of Lord  from here to the Universe:That was my first darshanam of Lord Sri Venkateshwara with my wife and children. Lord Venkateshwara is standing on this serpent hills as universal exponent, to explicit His Divine Message which derives from the origin of  Sathva the fortitude poower _ Sathvik Shakthi. It is marvelous and transcendental ever attracting the people from all around the world.  It is devotee’s strong belief on His grace, their problems will be solved miraculously and sincere desires fulfilled. On the Lord’s revelation_ Divya darshanam their minds become peaceful or peaceful three fold times than earlier before.

Our ancient sages were ascetics culminated on open knowledge seers and great orators. What they have contributed and delivered for Mankind are not superstitions; but superfine to overcome from sensual and materialistic passions. Masterly sages are creators of new era; with foresight for evoking the Sathva hidden in human beings. Thus our incited souls enlightened to self realization and God consciousness. Our legendary epics depict God’s inconceivable but solely cognizable discourses, useful for our future life.  Especially this epic called as “Bhavishyottara Purana” the epic replying to the future.

On looking nowadays’ worst situations some may says desperately-“God is useless!”  No, He helps who help themselves. He is great; despite of man made calamities like water and air pollution, still giving us somehow plentiful resources, time to time rains and cosmic energy from Sun.  Some scholars say universe run on its own accord, there is no one to its entity.

How man knew, whence this creation was? God only imparts wisdom to man who made money and many scientific inventions to live better. On the contrariwise he becomes too selfish to make this world as wicked! If still we are surviving, it’s because of the power of gentility that springs up from the divinity within humanity in the world!

We can find in our country “the best” and “the worst” examples. The fastest population growth is also a critical problem. It creates rate of ratios to vary on worst or best with the Tripartite Principle!  We can see in our temples in the name of Lord or in the name of Sevas rituals the exploitation of money is going on.  Devotees are silently accepting!  It is stated Tirupati temple stands first in this way of which made to follow other pilgrimages. God is not greedy!  Man  is greedy. He put a nick name to Him as “Baddi Kasinava” (Banker).

In my earlier days unknowingly I used to hate Lord Venkateswara is greedy for the money. I was reluctant to perform rituals and pujas. In fact He is the deity of our clan! Now He is my chosen deity! I never imagined that I write His epic finding everlasting life vision and evaluation for our all life times. On His inspiration only I had written it in our regional language Kannada as “Sapthagiri Sampada” published-1997. Based on the same, if this English version is up to the mark, it is also at His divine grace showered upon me as I am not a scholar, but to my sincere efforts His special force and order put me to work in this way of presentation. If I committed any mistakes that are mine, pour all those on Lord’s lotus feet. If anything is good and found wondrous by His grace only.

For the people of this Kaliyuga, Srinivasa, Sri Venkateswara is an Avatar as incarnation of MahaVishnu.  Devoted people believe He particularly descended on seven hills to hear us graciously and bestow eternally. Though this epic has no big canvas like Ramayana or Mahabharata, but in its way has some similarities. In Ramayana we find Sathvik prabhu Sri Ramachandra, in Mahabharatha characters of Dharmaraja, Vidhura, Vibheeshana are examples for same characters. Likewise, in this epic story Vishnu as Srinivasa the Sathvik exponent descended to earth for communicating His same Divine Message.

Dharma is Universal. There is not one dharma for Indians and another for westerners. It is the genteel manners to put into effectiveness, but our politicians made it as communal. Present age of Kaliyuga was predicted to witness the down fall of Dharma.  However, various aspects are being picked up in isolation by spiritualists to achieve divineness, and the people finding its perpetuation.

ಪೂರ್ವ-ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ
ಸೂರ್ಯ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ; ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲೇ  ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಅವನಿಗೆಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಪೂರ್ವ-ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ
ಭೂಮಿ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಿದೆ; ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ
ದಿನವೂ ಪೂರ್ವ-ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ.

ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ
ಆ ಭೂಮಿ ಮೇಲೇ ತಿರುಗಾಡತ್ತಾನೆ
ಅವನಿಗೆಲ್ಲಿದೇ ಗೆರೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಅಕ್ಷಾಂಶ ರೇಖಾಂಶಗಳು
ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅವನದೇ ಎರಡು ಅಕ್ಷ-ಕಕ್ಷೆಗಳು..?!

ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪೂರ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ನಿಶ್ಚಲನಾಗಿ ನಿಂತರೆ ಪೂರ್ವಾಗ್ರಹ ಪೀಡಿತನೇ
 ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿರುವೆ ನಾ ಅಚಲನೆಂದರೆ ಅಪರಿಗ್ರಹ ಪೀಡಿತನೇ
ಹೌದು, ತಿರುಗಿ ನೋಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ
ಪೂರ್ವ- ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಗಳಿವೆ ಎಂಬ ಬೆಳಕು-ಕತ್ತಲೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂಬ ಅನುಭವ.

ಎತ್ತೆತ್ತಲೂ ತಿರುಗಿ ನೋಡುವುದರಿಂದಲೆ ತನ್ನೊಳಗೇ
ತಾನು ಪುರೋಗಾಮಿಯೋ ತಿರೋಗಾಮಿಯೋ
ಎಂಬ ತಾಕಲಾಟದಲಿ ಕಾಲದೊಡಲಲಿ ಇಡುವ ಹೆಜ್ಚೆಗಳಲಿ ಭಯವೆ…
 
ಹೌದು, ಸೂರ್ಯ ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲೇ ಉರಿದು ಜಗಕೆ ಬೆಳಕು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾನೆ
ಭೂಮಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಕ್ಷದ ಮೇಲೇತಿರುಗುತ್ತಾ  ಹಗಲು-ಬೆಳಕು ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ
ತನ್ನ ಕಕ್ಷೆಯ ಮೇಲೇ ಸಾಗಿ ಋತು-ಮಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಭೂಮಿಗಿದೆ ನೋಡಿ ಒಂದು ಶಿಷ್ಟತೆ
 ಸೂರ್ಯನಿಗೋ ಒಂದು ಗಟ್ಟಿ ಸ್ಥಿರತೆ
ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಅಸ್ಥಿರತೆ…

WHY DO THY FLY AWAY'

Where do thy fly away heartily feelings
Herein technique, psychic mass of giants
From where do thy come to lives the soul sparkers
Here truth creature rests last by earth planets.

Why grief, sorrow in our day and night perceptions,
What struck to happiness in our life times?
Who scratches and cheats our future plans…
Is it by unknown, unforeseen hands triumphs..?

Why do thy pour poisonous drops
To ignorant, innocent dreaming eyes…
What causes the warm blood to misuse?
Why not thy sorbets in their silent zones'

Are not thy knower sabotage brings no change
In humanity uplifts; humiliation costs nothing'
Indulgence of starvation for sadistic crimes
Suicide bombers death not the correct solving'

Hey! Where do thy scattered away youth spirit
In this revolutionary era to fight against all evils
From where do thy come to get unflinching hopes
Here go ahead lines of peaceful discretions'

Where do thy lost love, affection by desperate
In the money power, ruling luster's laughs
Don't know any body any way how truth prevails
Herein to full fill thou desire of eternal bliss'

It is said: "Give hope in this hopeless, wicked world " I tell you this is the world of human beings having plentiful knowledge and cultural based segments, heritage in all work areas, wherein knowingly, unknowingly filled with full of unavoidable idiots; some times I feel including myself like a man of wisdom surrounded by fools will certainly look like fool, among those real fools. I also feel many times, I am not sadist, may be a satirist. I am appears to be too innocent, not so intelligent to tackle or handle cleverly any situation or any person.  Actually, I am very prudent, and think later on, how to face the circumstances or difficulties, but I don't say I have no time spirit being a writer. My draw back may be my straight forwardness, not known immediate sharpness in my talks, I hate this myself, and I feel the same tendency is my goodness some times. I never prepared my talks, to face any body by sharpening my wisdom.  

My life style is Simple; I always respect others healthy opinions and feeling, whosoever elder or younger would like to meet me I can share my thoughts freely as if they known to me since long time. It is always my pleasure to watch good feelings and happiness in others, if they have to reciprocate the same with integrity and due respect.

Moreover to say as a writer of reposeful, lovely beauty of nature/woman, and socially secured with regard to traditional by going on towards contemporary human values to seek ourselves peacefully further well secured, are treasure resources in our life's burden environment. 

Despite of all my attitudinal behaviors, with my profound knowledge I want to put some thing in words for your goodness whether or not you may save it in your mind or just pay attention to grasp temporarily, even then some of my own quotes may come to your use one or the other day even then not taken by you now forcibly so impressed, because you are not a computer. This is worldly life, wherein our ancestor's traditional customs have proved many human values, which are eternal and everlasting. Moreover such precious traditional human values stand incompatible even with any tatics, also techniques and technology now in existence. 

Only one hopeless or useless son's father is most unfortunate in this hopeless world, I am a father, fortunately or knowingly I had three sons.  Being elder, aged, It is our fate, virtue at this age of sixty, or may be of all such old aged parents, to keep away all tensions, all disturbing elements for their peace firm secured, and share past experiences, preach naturally, occasionally or instantly few wordings to children's, youngsters. Now I am eager to tell you about my failures, sufferings, happiness, triumphs explain from the depth of my experiences. It is not the matter of advice, but indulging your courage, aspirations towards right directions.  Through my writings, I am not trying any body to make as good as possible, but figuring themselves to the path of enlightenment, but it is the privilege, also ought of every body to find out their own salvations and develop personality for living future.  

But, unfortunately, most of our children's gets annoyed, if we elders just start advising. Especially, it is to note that majority attained youngster's arguments are very interesting for debate or counseling, if they come on desk for polite discussion with their parents, elders, and teachers or with renowned preachers. First of all a son's, daughter's argument starts with his father or mother, how it will be? Most probably to deny flatly, as if he/she knows everything, found everywhere new human values or values not necessarily required to live at their new fancy. Man is a superficial, thinking animal and struggling for doing as he thinks. By his innovations he has made this world so wonderful and ever enjoyment, but he never think about to die, nor learn from death which struck very nearby.  He is ignorant; in fact a death teaches more than a birth's calculations. 

Of course, each soul is different, and it has chosen a body to live at its own style, and move up to the end at its selected path only.  I already told this is the world of human beings, herein we are able to differentiate between an animal man and a merely animal creature.  Bloody thing created by man is money, and the best one is humanity for good and peaceful living.

And we people are able to judge, about money, man power and human values.  Each one's life style however it goes may be, he/she should become educative from childhood, or get higher education by growth, for which his parents duty  and responsibility is very higher, and it is inevitable most important on their part of life.  

Why the parents are giving higher education to their children's from decades of their hard earned money, by keeping aside their all self comforts and happiness? Most middle class officials are very sincere in this aspect, they always eager to build future of their children's rather than building their own house throughout in their life.  As if act of postulating they work hard day and night to see their children's come up above their poverty line, and both educationally and financially to uphold their status in the society.  

A man's soul doesn't cast or grasp itself the education and its communication and personality development to survive through its body in this universe.  If such a soul is there means it is really extraordinary by birth, peculiar and amazing. And thy superficial soul will definitely show to give beautiful and trust worthy contributions and results to be appreciated in early growth itself. Even such soul is also requiring good environmental opportunities and supports enough strength from some parents. Ordinarily, by each growth He/She has to learn some ethics and not go away from our traditional and cultural roots, getting confusions or delusions to adopt new styles, which are most dangerous; as such many examples are available.  It is said by our great Indian monk, Swami Vivekananda:

 "Men are made, not born."
Who has to shape he/she is it starts from home only by his/her parents.  But, of late what is happening? Children's attained majority, acquire good posts and positions forget the welfare of their parents and family's future responsibility. Of course, they are having good professionalisms earning handsome salary and good name also, but the name of those professionals in the officials retired circle or old aged parent area is diminishing with regard to their attitude, character and living style, values in respect of their future.  I also would like to mention necessarily some good example of young talented chaps is still available here and there, no elder or old aged one can comment, instead of getting astonished evidently.  

You may say: "why life should carry significance; and why do we bother about reasoning for every thing?  Just to enjoy and move away as it comes, or face only as it struck. Better think always practically, whatever may be the theory that should be put into practical only one or the other day.  To put into practical is not as easy as you think; still there is no other go than attempting incessantly. You see, if you don't care for money in this bloody business world, Money will not care for your many things. Of course, money makes many, provided if your mind makes all such things meaning full, "to make meaning full things" there is no short cuts rather than hard work and infinite patience, always high thinking and planning is necessary to the life, by thinking only we cannot achieve and reach to the highest goal.  If there is no goal means in this hopeless world we may become fools certainly. Mean mentality doesn't cast any significant values.  Even simple living is not possible unless we full fill our fundamental needs by planning.  Similarly, "simply living" has no meaning at all.

Once, I had to travel to Bangalore with my 3rd son (studying pu II) by train. I bought tickets,the train was about to departure. We both got up a bhogi, but didn’t get seats comfortably (as it was lavatory side). I told my son:  to take care of luggage, I will search out seats in another bhogi. When I went and found a bhogi, wherin a couple sitting comfortablly and talking together. I asked can I come there and accompany them with my s on. They agreed.  Immediately, I rushed with my son to that bhogi and occupy seat by their side.

By the time my son laughed at that woman (38-40) calling anty… because he knows her as the mother of his class mate. So I became really happy with the company we had to travel allalong. I introduced myself with her husband also and had some talks.  In the next five minutes train started to leave the station. Her husband got down as he just came to drop his wife. Acutally he was satisfied as his wife got a good company in travelling.

I started conversation with that fair lady who is a post graduate(M.A)having two kids, but still she likes to reamin as house wife only.  My son was sitting in the opposite seat gazing us. Keeping distance not only in talks also, leaving a seat’s distance between us, talks were going on by pause breakes.Suddenly a young man seems to be aged 30 came with his small boy (5yrs) tried to occupy the seat vacant between us. His small boy rushed and got sit by the side of the woman,but this fellow the father of that smally boy, draged his son’s  hand and dumped him towards my right side and sit close to the woman with whom I just acquainted. I don’t know how,I raised to the situation and told him politely “I know that lady, you come on man to my right side seat with your son” His face termed redish, and he simply obyed.  As a aged person (having 3 sons), even then , I was still  hesitating to sit in my left side close to that  woman just I knew her,  but an young stranger similarly not at all,what was his intention…?  Any how, he sat with all shyness, difficulty. In the next station he went away to to the birth which is just behind us. Now,the woman sitting close to me and a another women sitting quite opposite to her, both  are laughed at me. Then, I accompanied throught the journey with that woman very freely as if I know her since long time.

The news I read one day in Times of India(…0ct,2004)…

In Mumbai a corporate was addressing students of a college as a part of the college's golden jubilee celebrations….

“…There are three things that make me proud about India- the democracy, which through often challenged is still alive and kicking, the secularism, which has not yet been destroyed by religious intolerance, and you the future citizen, who fill me with hope….” said in his speech. He also urged the students to put to good use the education they eceived.At the end of his inspiring speech, when the thrown open to the students, the first question came to that big corporate was -”Sir, how did you make Rs.45,000 crore?” But, what was the answer to the students by the corporate is not known. we know that most of our politicians are not really honorouble first, and it is very difficult to differentiate a good figure among them. we are unforetunate to notice, that democracy, secularism, and our religious inheritence are found different meanings in the dictionary of such politicians.

So to say it is evident, most of our politicians and spokesmen have no right to preach about morality; if we go through their private life. We know very well their speeches on the thrown and practices in their social and private life are entirely different. Even then why colleges and schools administrators invite such “Big bulls” as chief guests or distinguished visitors…? It is well known, without such ”dominent persons” grace the schools and colleges will not run successfully and some such political leaders are also directors of such institutions. And this open secret is well known to students studying in the same institutions. Ofcourse, the poor students have been fed up to oppose money makers policy like collecting donations, as they have to pay the same from the hard earned money by their parents, and in many situations they are helpless to open their mouth also.

But, in the above cited incident some how their inner voice had find out big outlet in the public. And one more thing to mention here, of late it may be a big surprise, from the same educational institution, few brillient students will come out as new products of the college to figure themselves really as great reformers in this great society.
