Recession everywhere ..

It all started in October -08, when there was news of Lehman Bros going bankrupt, and the effect was shown here in terms of pink slips in finance sector (off late it is becoming part and parcel of all industries) . I also remember when I went to ICICI ATM, that eve (actually around 11.30pm), and witnessing people forming queue who were not allowed to withdraw their own hard earned money from their savings account . Wat a plight!!!!!!!!

Then slowly terms like Global Meltdown, pink slips, recruitment freeze, no openings, pay cuts, pay holds, reduction in variable compensation occupied the space in every corner of websites and newspapers.

Now that US elections are over and Obama taking oath as a new President, lets hope to have some good projects coming to India and have smiles back on our faces ..

As they say, let's have mercy of our US maai ' baaps ..

OK, Now is the time……………..

Yuppie………. I am exactly a month old in this iland………..

However could not write much in this period, as was preoccupied with work .

But then if i have to admit, whenever felt like writing something, i always used to go blank, having no clue as to wat to write…….Having read so many interesting and informative blogs of my fellow ilanders, i really get nervous as to whether will i be ever to articulate my thoughts so well………

Is it that i have to start off writing about my day to day experiences, or about that someone special in my life or about my friends, or about my work and what not………….

Lots of confusion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess enough for the day……………….. or……………….. enough for the month………………….
