A lot of ruckus has been created out of what was supposed to be an official condolence visit by the Kerala Chief Minister, Monsieur Achudanandan.
A busy person he might be, a denial of entry to a house to offer condolences is a rude behaviour especially when its a Chief Minister. At least one should respect the position if not the person.
The eventual impulsive outburst was unwarranted. But having said that, Mr Achudanandan may, if he want, apologise to the family, at least as a sympathetic gesture.
One do not expect a Chief Minister to visit anyone’s home to offer condolences. There’s a time for it. It can be according to the minister’s schedule & not necessarily to the match with the timing that any affected family is mourning.
The Chief Minister can at in an opportune time offer a badge of honour to the victim, posthumously.
If any officials of other state had time to visit the family, we respect that.
As it is, Kerala is also among the state where terrorism is spreading its wings. A Chief Minister can get busy solving it than getting embroiled with the silly media who can be scavengers at times.
My sincere condolences to the the near & dear ones of the great Major who lost his life fighting bravely.
Our Chief Minister, Monsieur Achudanandan
