MY short LOVE STORY

I work for a BPO. In my office lately, I started a good companionship with a girl.

I did it out of responsiblity. I decided, since her friends are on leave, I shall accompany her till the drop area from where our cab begins. Its a long walk of 15 minutes from our officebuilding each day.
It turned out she’s good, loveable when she smiles. But she does not expect me to talk to anyone else. She discourages me to ask anyone else to join us. It was kind of I control you and you can do nothing about it, kind of.
I was feeling a bit upset at time. But that was the beginning of eye-to-eye conversations till the cab leaves. It went on cool for a week. (trust me people were surprised with the change in her).

And one night, following that week,  I could not sleep. I was talking to her on my own all by myself. I would find my heart swell, & tears flowing copiously. (I had asked her once out, but she was busy in her studies. Like all homely girls who prefers to stay at home instead.) I could not pull up courage to tell her it is my wish that I should treat her nicely & that I may please be given a chance. I couldn’t. I didn’t. Then I realised maybe I shouldn’t, from what follows now.

I gave up the idea of accompanying her. I would feel shy. This started as a silent cold war from her end in which she felt offended that she can be ignored like that. It must have made her felt that she’s not worth my company - and How dare I do it ?. But she could not understand my longing to talk to her & my shyness that was drawing further into my shell of shame. Then one mistake from me turned to an offensive talk from her & she took that as an excuse to make me feel low & shifted her place elsewhere. She quit the job the same month. She was preparing for her MBA exams.

Here I am once again all alone. Damm it, you need courage to fall in love, I guess !!!

MEN & LOVE

I must have read it somewhere, coz I got prompted to say it when I trying to get close to someone.
And I was given a cold shoulder.

For men, love is like window shopping. You never know which of the outfits there would suit you. And when you have the purse for it (meaning if circumstances favours you), what’s stopping you from trying that?’

WOMAN & LOVE

I was reading in one of the panchatantra stories. One sentence says :

“Like a fire that is never satisfied by the wood it get supplied with or like an ocean whose thirst is never quenched with the innumerable rivers, a woman’s passion is never satisfied by any number of lovers”

Cricket again.

So its people like Harbhajan or Bipasha Basu or Shilpa Shetty who are the new ambassadors of Indian culture. Shilpa Shetty managed it & she is able to hold on to it. Good for her.

Harbhajan is taking us for a ride. I think the minitry of external affairs in India should interfere now in the Indian cricket.

Sportmanship should come first & then the talent should be counted. We dont want the likes of Murali in our team, just because he got an awkward way of bowling (its so unreal to watch him bowl) & can take wickets.

(The Lankans are people who will always smile whether  its Tsuami or the inter-regional conflict that always take away life everyday. Strange they are. May God help them.)

Its understandable. Indian team comprises members from different states. So each people can have different temparament & tastes. So can we have a coach who can teach them all together some things in Public Relations. All their movements in time of ecstasy is as silly as their fielding.

There’s lot to learn from Dravid.

Will write more.

Taslima

I read one of her novels, MY GIRLHOOD. Its good to know about a different society.
Its difficult to understand why Taslima should write such a novel depicting vulgarity (what she thinks) in first person.

Pen is a mightier than the Sword. It is also true it should be the right people who weild it.

So its difficult to understand why Taslima seeks to go back to her country of which she wrote such negative things.

Why should India give her refuge. Dammit where the hell was our sentiments when our own M F Husein was targetted.

Yes, she can go to France or London. France is giving her an award. Maybe its kind of a knighthood in their country.

I wish saner sense prevails & she returns at least as a prodigal daughter to her own country.

Hi Mark Tully

I never read any of your books, but your recent comments on India proves to me you mean good to us.

I agree with you India needs to stop concentrating on becoming super-power & teach preachings of Gandhi instead. These are bad times for us. Our old friend Russia is in the brink of becoming our enemy.

India should work on steady overall growth of economy & benefits of the growth should reach all its remotest corners.

Illiterary, Corruption, Poverty - until these maladies are cured, we have no reason to feel that we are a global power.

Civilisation is yet to dawn in many parts of India. Think about Gujarat & West Bengal politics. Shame on us.

I shall go through your article again & make this a good readable one for all.

Monsieur Ramadoss, tres bien Monsieur

Je vous salut !!!!!!

It has been sometime that India wanted leaders like you. Gone are the days when Gandhi would preach & we would follow.

The one year compulsory internship for medics in rural area is a blessing for India. Foreign medics abroad would vie to get something like this. There are teeming number of deprived Indians who die every year of starvation. The diseases & maladies they face are much more. They need help.

Keep it up Sir & please bring your attention to the BpO industry that works in the night. The coming generations of India would soon turn out to be weak minded, feeble insomniacs. Please do something about it.

Bipasha & her Clown

I saw her dancing in the BEEDI JALAI-LE song… & that was the last time I ever wanted to see her.
But she again comes in the Delhi Times. She says there’s racism in UK & that we should not take it lying down.

Dear Madam, Who told you to go to UK & show off your dances or gyrations in the traffic signal  of an alien country. I didnt see you do that. But I would have wished the signal post to fall on you all & be taught a lesson.

Do you know when a foreigner comes visiting to India, he’s scorned at & their pretty unassuming friends are subject to so rude comments. Poor chaps they don’t know the local language that these idiots use. Maybe that’s not racial abuse for you.

I think anything is bad or good for you so long as as you come in the news. Trust me, I shall stop reading newspaper, if any stupid news on you comes in the main newspaper.

You and John Abraham are like what the Brits in UK would feel about David Beckham & Victoria.

Happy piggy-riding.

(Dear friends please note this is  only meant for some artists who wants to be ambassadors of  Indian culture abroad. No disrespect meant to the true artists)

GLOBAL WARMING !!! What the shit!!!

So we have a new cause to let our real problems be kept in the backburner. Global warming is not what we Indians need to work on most.  Povery & Illiteracy is what is weaking the spine of India.
Problems like global warming are the problems of the Developed nations & let them pay for it. Thanks to our Indian Gods, we are safe from the direct ill-effects of global warming.
Whereas we should contribute on our end, it need not be taken so seriously. Its NO point in explaining illiterate Indians such things. Their only means of living is riding the old model diesel rickshaw or lorry or buses. Maybe they still cook the way the man in stone age was cooking his meals - burning wood, dried cowdung and all.
I contribute to global warming by riding on my bicycle for myl errands & always take the steps to go or come back from my work which is in 6th floor.

OK LET ME PUT IT THIS WAY - Two obese persons. One rich, the other poor. The rich got it because he ate & ate, the poor got it because his stomach bloated because of malnutrition. Let the rich guy find his own way to deal with his things (he’s got money right!!!). Lets pay out attention to the poor & treat him fairly.

JOKES PART - 2

Our last fight was my fault. My wife asked, “What’s on the TV?”
I said, “Dust!”

Do you love me ?
What do you think ? That I’m doing pushups?”

An astronomer was watching the sky from his telescope. Santa was observing him.
Suddenly a star falls, seeing that Santa shouted, “Kya nishana lagaya hai!”

A girl staring at a priest started removing her sweater. He looked up and prayed. “God please close my eyes.”
Then he found her shirt fallen. This time he prayed, “God please close your eyes.”

Banta’s wife, “I’ve done a pregnancy test.”
Banta “And, were the questions difficult?”

There are bats hanging of a branch upside down, all except one. Two bats comment:
What happened to this one?
I don’t know, two minutes ago he seemed normal and then he fainted.

Teacher: Now, Sam, tell me frankly, do you say prayers before eating?
Sam: No sir, I don’t have to, my Mom is a good cook.

At last one lawyer lost his temper and shouted, “Sir you are the biggest fool that I have set eyes on.”
“Order, order,” said the Irish judge. “You seem to forget that I am in the room.”

Patient: Doctor, you’ve gotta help me. I eat apples, apples later come out into the toilet. I eat bananas, bananas come out.”
Doctor: That’s easy. Eat sh#t.

Did you hear about the blind carpenter who picked up his hammer and saw?
