I Often hear in media and around me people talking abt equality between man and woman and man doing injustice to women. I dont want to justify any stand on whose better and whose equalco0z looking back at history rather mythology women have been associated with shakti, the energy of man and ardhanarishvar avatar of lord shiva proves equality between two sexes. But then u also have some notions in granths and upanishads that if a lady concieves in a shukal paksh she delivers a boy and when she concieves in krishan paksh she gives birth to a girl, so we find here the nature itself associating light to men and darkness to woman.
then we had swayamvars being organised where girls had the choice to choose their husbands. So history witness a huge respect being paid to women, but with tim e the condition of women deteriorated , but now times have changed much and the women are considered at par with men.
but what i am concerned more is with that men are often held responsible for the sad plight of women. But i personally believe that women themselves are much responsible for their sad plight.Let it be the mother in law, daughter in law, sister in law, mistresses, etc, etc.I have seen that it is mostly women who destroy the peace and happiness of the home.In cases where men do injustice to women, the one who is torturing is not wholly responsible but the one who is allowing herself to be tortured is more responsible.
I also often see girls shifting positions according to convenience. When it comes to rights we are equal to men,but when it comes to duties we are a weaker sex.they want to enjoy the privileges that chivalry offers but also want to dominate male .I only want women to live with dignity, love, peace and harmony, to be a specimen of what they actually stand for-softness,forgiveness,tenderness,strength,patience,love and beauty. They are the only ones who can keep a family together intact.Enjoy ur priveleges but never let ur basic qualities die in u.Men shud also realise that their duty is to handle this special creation-women,with love, care and respect. If each sex is doing its duty well then there wud be no need for anybody to go into other person’s shoes and do the reverse role.

I just read Robert Frost’s “ROAD NOT TAKEN”, and just loved the concept behind it.So true, such is a state of human affairs that we always long for what is not there and are always careless towards wat we have. After taking a decision and after the consequences we often think that had we done it the other way it wud have been much better. but there is no such thing as “BEST”, there is always a better after a best. we hav to pacify ourselves with the present state of affairs.sometimes a moment comes in our life when it is really hard to make a decision, people often say listen to ur heart, i say listen to ur brain coz practically wat is correct rules the world, telling u of one such incident.
I had a friend , she was in love with a guy whom she met a few months ago. and there was this close family friend who was even her childhood best friend, and the family wanted the girl to marry that friend. Now she was to make a choice, obviously she was listening to her heart and made a choice, but that meant losing her family and a gud friend. She came to me to seek some guidance though she knew that i am a heartless and insensitive crap but she had no one else to talk to. I asked her few simple questions:
1 Whom do u love?
2 Whom do u know better?
3Whom do u respect more?
for the first two questions she had obvuious answers but she was silent on 3rd question. She had to think for a while to answer it and said she never thought seriously abt it bt on my forcing her she said she respect her childhood friend more .So there lies her answer,i said her to marry her childhood friendbecause love is something that can just happen anytime, anywhere and with anyone but respect is something u cant give to all. According to me the real foundation of a relationship is not love but mutual respect and understanding.
finally she listened to her heart and married her love. wat i want to say is never seek conformation for an already taken decision u are just wasting ur and ur friend’s time. And now after 1 year of her marriage she says that if she had agreed to my suggestion she might have been much more happies, shew was regretful for the road not taken….

21st century, globalisation, modernisation wow such civilised and lovely words for where we belong today. sitting with my mother and talking about changing scenarios a debate originated in my brain.whether this technological advancement is a boon or we were much happier being rusty indian true to our cores and culture. well ignorance is bliss …..thats what i have heard since childhood and it seems so true and perfect. the more we are into exploring the universe and our own self the more we are getting entangled into some unanswered questions.
we had illiteracy, ignorance, backwardness but we did not have broken relationships, AIDS, crime and lack of emotions. i feel man today turned into a beast turning into a stone.there are earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, storms and global warming wat are these. this is the cry of our mother earth and mother nature that it is enough now stop it. man is trying to rise above god dethrone him and make himself the unquestioned ruler of this universe. now is there anybody who can protect earth and save us from the impending nature, werent we good when we were tamed animals unlike now when we are trying to be uncontrolled rulers of this world. i often think where we are going in the search of our identity, aren’t we losing ourselves more and more.

sitting and watching discovery channel pondering over the number of species this earth has, it just came to my mind well som of my friends say i dont have it, we human beings are th most powerful species on this earth we are the rulers and kings of this land .we have powers that no other species have the most important being the power to mtell and express and demand. wat about anmals like dogs who cannt speak or express themselves but i find them to be much more humane and sensitive then us real human beings.
i personally feel that we on earth have been given the charge and duty to take care of rest all of species.. are we really doing our duty well, are we exercising our power in right direction. so i request all of u young people the so called future of india and world to be a bit sensitive and honest towards these little animals

hello everybody i just wanted to ask something an seek ur opinion .what is the actual criteria of being a good person and a bad person, is being good means to go by social norms and love god or to pretend to be so or just being honest and speaking ur heart out and be watever u are. is it necessary to put on masks and cheat urself and others and say wat u actually dont feel from the core of ur heart.just to please people around u is it a compulsion to pretend to be happy and religious and go for marriage . may be someone out there cud give me the right direction
thank u
