And you tell me ….

Please don`t hurt me
I have told you
All my love is all i`ve got
And tomorrow is the day
When I for your sake
I`m coming back
And you tell me
That i don`t love you

Trying hard to make you jealous
Trying harder to make you stay
Days are longer
Night are crazy
It`s so strange when you`re away
And you tell me
That i don`t love you

becuase i love you i will show you
all the faces my love can have, so
Please
Let me come to you
And stay this time
And you tell me
That i don`t love you

Oh you know
That it`s just not true

It turns me inside out

In a way I’m glad it’s over
Even though it’s gonna hurt me once you’re gone
I can learn to live without you
Give me time and I can make it on my own

Lovin’ you to me came easy
Now losin’ you will change my life no doubt
In a way I’m glad it’s over
In another way it turns me inside out

In a way I guess it’s better
Even though there’s nothin’ good about goodbye
But I knew I couldn’t hold you
Now you’ve found your wings and you need room to fly
It’s for sure I’m gonna miss you
But I guess that’s what goodbye is all about

In a way I’m glad it’s over
In another way it turns me inside out
On the one hand I know I’ll be better off once you’ve gone
But I find a lot of heartaches on the other
And I can’t say I’ll look forward to those nights I’ll be alone
And I wonder, will there ever be another

Cause lovin’ you to me came easy
Now losin’ you will change my life no doubt
In a way I’m glad it’s over
In another way it turns me inside out
In a way I’m glad it’s over
In another way it turns me inside out

Hava Nageela

I am so glad I found this song on Youtube by Harry Belafonte (from my childhood days when I was about 7 or 8). I wanted to share it with you. Hope you enjoy this old Hebrew Song. Pasted below are also the Lyrics of this simple but beautiful song. And Belafonte oh what a voice?? I can still recall my old LP record crackling and turning at 33 1/3 rpm.

“Hava Nageela” (in Hebrew) is a Hebrew folk song, the title meaning “Let us rejoice”. It is a song of celebration, especially popular amongst irreligious Jewish and Roma communities. In popular culture, it is used as a metonym for Judaism, and is a staple of band performers at Jewish festivals.

Hava Nageela Hava Nageela
Hava Nageela vay mismacha

Hava Nageela Hava Nageela
Hava Nageela vay mismacha

Hava na ranina
Hava na ranina
Hava na ranina vay mismacha

Hava na ranina
Hava na ranina
Hava na ranina vay mismacha

Oo roo ooroo achim
Oo roo achim belev say maya
Oo roo achim belev say maya
Oo roo achim belev say maya
Oo roo achim belev say maya

Oo roo achim Oo roo achim
Belev say maya
(repeat all above once)

Tere Do Nayan

Some weeks ago I had written about a Girl in Jamnagar whom I had gone fida over because of her eyes.

Since there are a lot of musical (embedded) posts on the ILAND these days I thought I would try my hand at it while dedicating a song to all those pretty eyes that directly or indirectly had an effect on me and there are quite a few.

And Misty you have got The Best song by far from what I have heard. Oooooh that Katara katara number makes me wannna go back for more. Tch Tch Tch wonder why I didn’t listen to it when you emailed it to me.
