How to Stop Drinking

Alcoholism is a sin. When I say it is a sin, I didn’t refer to a religious angle. It is a sin to yourself, your family and your loved ones. Drinking regularly can lead to a habit and eventually to addiction. Drinking has got so many evil effects on your health, finances and your happiness. So it is high time to stop drinking. Even in a party it’s not necessary that you have to drink, there are so many ways to network and get involved in a party. 


Here are six simple steps to reduce or stop drinking: 


Don’t keep alcohol at home: Never keep alcohol at home. When you stock it, you will have the temptation to drink. At times, even in a situation when you could avoid drinking or even when you are not in a mood to drink, the thought of alcohol at your cabinet will give you the temptation to go and have it. So never stock alcohol at your home or at office. 


Postpone it: If you are a regular drinker and say if you drink at 8 pm in the night, just postpone it. Drink at 10 pm. There are two advantages of doing this. First, you are convincing your brain and mind that you can postpone the urge and you are not an addict, secondly the early you start; the more you drink. Starting late will force you to have less and go to sleep. 


Don’t drink before food: When you drink before having food, your stomach will be relatively empty. You may end up drinking more. Make a habit that you have food first and fill your stomach fully. When there is less space in stomach, you may end up drinking less. After all you don’t want to make you stomach strained an then let out what you had right?

Smartness is an art. You can be smart if you just want to be. Smartness is nothing inborn but it is developed. Smart people dominate the world. So you need to be smart enough to outstand in the crowd. So how smart are you and don’t you want others to say that you are a smart person?

Define your goals: You need to define your goals and work towards its achievement. I’m sure every one of you will have goals in life, but most of the time you just give it a passing thought. You can do one thing. Every 10 days get a goal in mind; start with the smaller goals and then work towards the bigger ones. Review the goals at the end of every 10 days. Make sure the goals you set are achievable in 10 days. Later you can set long term goals. 


Enhance your education: Education is the primary necessity to go forward successfully in life. A person who’s successful is a smart person. Never stop studying. Education has no limits, no age bars; try to educate you more and more. Earn higher degrees; try to be proficient in atleast one subject. My Dream Yesterday – A Naughty One That Blew My Head Away


 


I had a dream yesterday and when I got up in the morning my back was paining like never before. I made a cup of black tea and as I sipped it, I just thought about the dream.


 


In my dream, I woke up from my sleep on a winter morning. As I opened my eyes, It was all dark around and I was covered on all sides by a square like structure and it was very hard as I touched it. I was scared and screamed aloud. I saw someone open it from the side, wow it had a side door and there my wife was looking at me and asked, “Why are you screaming?” I asked her what the hell is this? As if you are seeing this for the first time. You have been using this for almost a year now – The air conditioner tomb to fight cold. Wow! What a name – and air conditioner tomb to fight cold. I realized it was structure fitted on top of my bed used my by wife and me. But yesterday night when I went to bed I was just wearing a blanket. May be my wife wanted to give me a surprise.


 


 As I walked onto the living room, there sits a 18 year old something girl playing video game. Now who the crap is this who’s sitting at my living room and playing video games at 7 am in the morning. She probably might have heard the sound of my footsteps; she turned, looked at me and said “Good morning Papa”. Papa? As far as I know, I’ve and daughter and son; they are twins and they are only two and half years old. If this girl who’s around 18 has to call me papa, I should have become her father when I was 13 years old. Boy look back!!!!!! Eyyyy Naaaa….I was a good boy, this girl might be kidding.  Now someone hugs me from behind and says “Good morning papa”; I turned back and it was a 18 something boy. Now who is this mannn??? Something crazy is going on out here right from my time I woke up and found a tomb around me…Oh Yeh! A air conditioner tomb ha ha funny.


 


I sat on the couch and took the newspaper in my hands. The headline read like this, “President Clinton Jr. promises the American people that there will be no more wars America will indulge in”. Oh my God, yesterday when I went to bed the American president was Barack Obama. Now who’s this Clinton Jr.? Probably a printing mistake, but mistake on the headlines? I looked down for other news. “ First baby born in the moon”, Next vacation trip to Mars will commence after 20 days”, “ Water prices increases as automobile sale sky rockets”. I just kept the newspaper there and screamed, what’s happening man? And the eighteen year old turned at me and asked in one voice “What happened papa?”. I felt like running away from there.


 


Okay now I’ll go and take a hot bath, probably I’ll be fine. I entered the bathroom and looked at the mirror. Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh who are you now? Oh no, it’s me; I looked at the mirror and I’m asking Who am I? But yesterday when I went to sleep all my hairs and moustache were black. Then how did

How To Overcome Your Short Temper

Many of us sometimes lose our temper, shout at people including our family members and then repent on it. But remember “Words are sharper than sword”. A word once spoken out cannot be taken back and the most powerful weapon that can kill a person’s mood or which could create a wound in his heart through out his or her life is word. So words are to be used carefully for better relationships. Short temper causes harm not only to others but also to oneself by gifting you ailments which could make your suffer all along. 

Now it is important to understand that short temper is a serious problem and it has to be removed from your personality forever. 


I’ve some formula for you below if you really want to work towards controlling your short temper. 



  1. Do breathing exercise everyday for 15-20 minutes. Start with 2-3 minutes and then continue doing it for 15-20 minutes everyday. Breathing exercise is very powerful. You may discuss with someone who know how to do breathing exercise because it has to be done in a proper manner. Also if you have some ailments discuss with your doctor before doing it. Breathing exercise helps you to calm down throughout your day.

  2. Spend some time with yourself. You can sit or lie down somewhere in a relaxed posture and think about your good qualities, your achievements, your blessings and so on. Feel the happiness. It’s difficult but you need to make it happen.

  3. Remember that you are not perfect. Many times you shout at others for something. Remember that in that way you also are to be shouted at many times because you also commit mistakes and you also are not perfect.

  4. Before getting angry at anyone look at that person or people and think about 2 good things they have done for you. If they haven’t done anything think about two blessings you have in life. Your mind will calm down. Practice it.

  5. When you lose your temper and you are about to shout at someone, just ask yourself whether you like to be shouted at. Will you like to be treated in a manner you are going to treat others right now. You answer will be NO right. Then why you want something to be done to others which you don’t like to be done to you?

  6. Spend some time in prayer. Prayer heals everything. Prayer is not about demanding things from God. Prayer is all about spending some time with the eternal power of this universe and yourself. If possible go and spent some time in a church or mosque or temple and sit there for sometime. You will feel a lot of peace within yourself.

And when it comes to a fresher it becomes more important to write and submit an appealing resume or curriculum vitae as they need to compete with others with experience in the market. Although there is no need to panic because of lack of experience as there are jobs available to freshers alone, it is important to understand that the fresher’s job market is the most competitent one. 


So here are some tips to write a good selling document to attract the job that you require. 




  1. The resume should have your full name, date of birth, address, phone numbers and email ids on the left hand top. Try to include alternative numbers too as there are chances of being unable to reach your number at times. Also make sure that you include more than one email id so that any communication is not lost.


  2. Then mention a summary of whom you are, your education qualification, any trainings attended, your strengths and weakness and your career objective. This section is important as the first few lines of your resume or CV will determine whether your employer want to read it further or not.

So here are the common mistakes that men and women commit and lead to a break off after the first date itself. 


Wearing without sense: Many people become over cautious or not cautious about the dress they wear on a date that it looks like ugly. You need to be yourself and dress in a simple manner. Be neat and dress simple is the best way to go for your first date and secondly don’t over use your make up because he or she would like to see your original skin and not the cosmetic one.

How to Reduce Your Belly Fat the Ayurveda Way

Increasing waistline is always a cause of worry and agony when you are already over weight. Obesity is a major problem in these days and getting over it is a huge task. You might have tried several methods to reduce weight. Had been consistent, it would have produced results too. Let’s try ayurveda this time. Ayurveda is the oldest medical science and the most important fact is that there are no chemical rich medicines in Ayurveda. Fat reduction can also be caused by still having enough food but in a different manner. The things that I’ve mentioned below may be familiar but just try this out consistently for 30 days and I’m sure you will smile because you will start seeing the results. 




  1. Take 2 fruits in the morning and 1 fruit in the evening. I’ll mention later in this article the fruits that help in fat reduction.


  2. Take one glass of water every hour from the time you wake up till you sleep.


  3. Exercising is one of your dreams that never come true. Okay don’t do any heavy exercise. Morning or evenings go for a brisk walk. Don’t think you are brisk walking to reduce fat. Just go out and do some brisk walking while enjoying the scenes around. Stop whenever you want for a chat or to have a juice. Then again continue. What is the real meaning of Self Esteem? Self-esteem is a term used in psychology to reflect a person’s overall evaluation or appraisal of his or her own worth. So it is something decided by oneself and not by others. It is a self evaluated feeling. So how good is your self esteem? Most of the time a person having a low self esteem never realizes that but it is very important to hold a high level of self esteem to succeed in any area of one’s life. So how can you improve your self esteem and keep yourself out of danger?
