How To Add Google Talk in Orkut

Few months ago, when news broke out that Google Talk and
Orkut would be integrated, we were all expecting an embedded Google
Talk Chatbox within Orkut (something like what we see within Gmail),
but unfortunately they didn�t do that. Instead, they just added our
Orkut friends are GTalk contacts and added our status message to be
seen in Orkut.

Recently Google introduced a new Google Talk Gadget which
could be embedded onto any blog or webpage. Making use of this gadget,
ErickXavier has coded a Greasemonkey script which adds a nifty Google
Talk gadget within Orkut Sidebar, which allows you to stay intouch with
your buddies without installing Google Talk.

Installation: Just like any other Greasemonkey script, you need Firefox and Greasemonkey extension before attempting to install this script. Click here to install the script from our mirror (Alternatively, you can get it from Userscripts)

If you would have read my YOUTUBE sucks article, you would realise why i have been in a desperate need of an Video Hosting website, that can solve all the problems that i face on youtube.

Today I hit on www.veoh.com an answer to all my problems on youtube was finally here

Let me make this less narrative, and more of a comparison blog between veoh and youtube

1. Upload File Size Limit

a. Youtube : 10 Minutes and 100 MB
b. Veoh : Unlimited and Unlimited Time

- How it helps you and me
1. No need to reduce the size of the file to fit it in the upload limit
2. No need to reduce the quality of the video
3. No need to break/ seperate your more than 10 minutes video into small 10 minute videos. Specially a pain when you trying to upload a 300 MB movie

Quality
a. Youtube : SUCKS... reduces it to poor
b. Veoh : No reduction of quality, doesn't mess with the quality at all. means Streaming Video as good as the one you uploaded

Playlist
a. Youtube : 1/10 Why? - Creates a playlist in 20 minutes, updates it with one song another 20 mintues, and get working playlist in another 20 minutes. Click Here To Read More on this. Looks crap with the silly menu on the right
b. Veoh : 10/10 : Veoh has a feature called series for its playlist, this series appears, right below the video, and hides when you are watching one of the videos. This means, you can add all you favorites in one window link, and no one will really know. Fast, accurate, add to playlist as soon as you upload in no time at all

Download Videos
a. Youtube : Goto websites like viloader.com or www.vixy.net to download videos with shit quality
b. Veoh : Has an offline player which lets you download hi quality videos (movies) within minutes to see and burn

Upload File
a. Youtube: Upload any kind of video, thats saved on your computer, so if you have already uploaded it on another website, or someone has put it as a wmv or avi somewhere else, you have to first download it and then upload it. before you cut, reduce, quality etc
b. Veoh: Upload from URL, RSS, youtube - You can upload videos directly to your Veoh from a direct URL. So if you found a nice wmv or avi file online and want to share it in a flash video player over your website. Just put the direct URL and it will be ready for you
