Saving a human life

One year ago I did a remarkable thing in my life.  I think it was the best thing I can do.  I saved the life of a doctor.  The doctor who used to see our family.  His chamber was nearby and his name is Dr. Chaudhury.  He is an old man in his 70s.  He had some sort of problem which I don't remember.

I used to go to gym every morning.  On my return from gym, I saw Dr. Chaudhury lying in his chamber's chair.  One people was assisting him.  I saw that he was lying flat and white foam was coming out of his mouth.  I hurriedly went to his home as I knew his residence well.  I told his wife about his sudden illness.  She said, "I had told him not to go! But who listens??? He went!"  She added that her son lives in Hyderabad for his job.  Then some people from his house went to the doctor's chamber and he was later hospitalized.

After saving the life of a doctor who treated me since childhood made me feel really good.  I felt that I have done something useful, I felt very content.  Saving the life of someone dying gives you a satisfaction which money cannot buy.  You will feel like a messenger of God and you will feel an ultimate solace and a contentment which will have a deep impression in your mind.

In our everyday life, we are always chasing money and forget the human values.  It happens in a busy city when someone collapses in the road, you will find many onlookers and a crowd gathering like bees to a flower with honey! But ultimately when someone asks for help, the crowd gets dispersed as there are very few who wants to take the responsibility of carrying the injured or sick to the hospital or clinic.
