My oldest memories of myself have been those of rebellion. I remember always being at loggerheads with the Rules that be, questioning the bases of Right and Wrong, opposing dictats that did not comply with my likes, and most of them did not. I do not know why I did it, perhaps I wanted to [...] The more feared than awaited concert is finally over. If you ask me it went off pretty ok. Yes, there was lack of coordination in the group movements, there were too many items, there were wardrobe malfunctions, there were artists backstage shedding tears of nervousness (so what if she was a 3 year old who suddenly wanted her mummy), [...] No really, sometimes it does! Remember how I cribbed about my sloppy performance at my dance exams? Well apparently they passed me with distinction. I remember both the judges almost drooping off in their seats. Our teacher had told us they were probably listening intently to judge if we missed a beat. I am now sure they slept through [...] I have always had an affinity for the non-sense. For example, I like people who can stare blankly into thin air and be happy about it or suddenly smile at unsuspecting frowning strangers or those who can have breakfast cereals for dinner, or suddenly remember a joke and laugh out aloud in the middle of a serious meeting. [...] Haven’t written much this season, the reason being that I haven’t done much this season. Heat and humidity are two things that take me down the fastest (only next to hunger though), and this season we have had more than our share of them. So much so that whenever someone asks what’s up, I start [...] I turned 30 last week. Through last year when people asked me what I would do on my 30th birthday, I told them ‘I would mourn of course’. When someone asked last month what I want as a birthday gift, I told him ‘A rope that is strong enough’. Needless to say I did not get any [...] There are days when you wish you could tear off a few pages from your life, crumple and throw them into the wastepaper bin and start writing afresh with a clearer mind. When you sit and evaluate your life and all its turns, you often ponder over some choices you made that you have always [...] Pujas are usually the time of the year when I get to unwind and basically laze around.
