two men and a blog….

The happiest moment of pappas life was when he held baby krutika in his hands…he loved her from even before she was born…actually even conceived..”my princess”he said as he looked into her eyes…ever since pappas mission has been to teach krutika to dream and fulfill all her dreams..”a princess never has to compromise..good night my princess”he would say to her every night even before she understood the meaning of those words…
As she grew older…mom wud typically worry…”the big bad world wont treat her like you do ” but papa never let his princess even hear those words..mom often said “she is a girl ,wl live with her inlaws, how wl she ever cope???dont pamper her so much!!!!”
But by then krutika had it etched in every cell of her being that she the princess never needs to compromise……
I happened to meet krutika after long at the mall last week…with her husband and loads of shopping bags…was glowing ,seemed marraige was treating her very well..In course of conversation her husband said…nothing makes me happier than seeing ‘her majesty ‘happy…and that will happen always at all costs…
I smiled…btw have u heard this “life treats you like you really really beleive you deserve to be treated!!!!”

  3. Nischalson Crusoe says

i second rajesh. only few are born lucky. well as for others, better luck next time. (:

  4. Friendly Ghost says

Again, a beautiful point. I agree. The message is: Believe, and the world will fall into place.

and this comment below mine……… (hope its not by you to vindicate your stance……….he he he)……………….. if what she tells is true….. then wow… she is one lucky gal…….. even “Diana” wasnt that lucky…… or the scores of princess dotting the earth….. i dont think they are……. for that matter… barring a few (i really mean a few; and those few happen to be those who remain aloof from this world) individuals………. no one can be happy and pampered all the time. and if they really are……….. hats off to them.

everything fine with this blog dear, but the last line……. let me give you a hard pat on your back which hurts quite a bit and then i would like to hear from you… (of course you wouldnt be expecting to be “hit” from me…) that sentence again… expect life treats you…. in this case you dint expect it to be treated that way and you got it right?

  7. Sushma Iyengar says

As simple as this story may sound, it feels as though you have written about me ! With just one difference, it was my mother who pampered (and still pampers ) me and from this year on, its my husband’’s turn :).”Looks like we saggis are born to pamper you taureans ” he says.(both my husband and mother are saggis). what can i say…just that it feels great to be pampered :)

Nice to see Jasir joining the discussion!! It”ll be more interesting now!!

  10. Jasir Alavi says

and wat was the title all about?

  11. Jasir Alavi says

“life treats you like you really really beleive you deserve to be treated!!!!” …. huh? is dat tru????? * sigh * this is becomin worse than utopia! girl, wat has gotten into u?

  12. Sudaman TM says

Have you read Shakti Gwain’’s Creative Visualisation…It is a matter of belief…Pappa visualised and taught Kruthika to visualise…this is my explanation about the event…And about the author…just as raw as ever…No Duets…No stunts….No Comedy Scenes…point as raw as it can ever be…

  13. Sudaman TM says

I love to read you….Just that….a new realisation after so many years of my living days…giving birth to a wisdom tooth is more painful than giving birth to a baby…And when you are not in Apun ka land…T-Nagar…Chennai…and when you open your mouth to a danish dentist…God…horrible days and unchartered waters that i am sailing now :)

  14. sudheer kar says

But coming to the point of compromise, everyone needs to be able to compromise at some point. Compromise is not so bad after all!! It is in fact very much necessary for the happy living of any individual.

  15. sudheer kar says

OK Shweta, leaving aside the nitty gritties, the topic is infact very good!!may seem to be a little impractical in the first look!! Its true that u r what u think or better what u believe!! Papa is great visionary, it seems. he knows how to make her daughter get ready to face the world directly on to its face!! Its better if every father thinks like krutika’’s father. we need many krutika’’s in this world just to cleanse it from preconditioned notions and negative thoughts!!

  16. sudheer kar says

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaa…..another Bigggggggggggggggg Complication!!!!

  17. Shweta Iyengar says

people think simplicity is not getting into complications but I say simplicity is being a part of the complication and rising above it….so simplicity is the other side of complication…the side u get to after u cross the complication river…staying on the earlier bank is just plain ignorance!!!!

  18. Shweta Iyengar says

and amit “everyone” in all my blogs is me…like in one of my earlier blogs tanmayee is me and sid is also me….hey guys have i confused enough!!!!!!

  19. Shweta Iyengar says

darlings…why to u both always get caught in the nitty gritties to not pay enough attention to the essence……

  20. sudheer kar says

and Rajesh, next time she”ll write something which we cant understand (ofcourse which always makes sense ) and then if we ask what is it, she”ll say, u should ponder over it!! Just kidding shweta, dont mind!! ofcourse we could understand what u mean by ur title but its just not too clear for us!!

  21. sudheer kar says

Yaaa…..has to agree with Rajesh!! See already we have to think so much regarding ur blogs!!Its already a high thing for us!! and now thinking about titles also!!

  22. rajesh vora says

that was a good one Amit. she manages to drive everyone crazy except herself. ha ha ha. the spider doesnt get caught in its own web, wot? and shwets, u ask us to think abt the title whereas u urself did not think abt it. yeh to kuch zyada hi ho raha hai. btw, the dad and her hubby might b the two men, but how does it relate to the blog? i mean i does but it still doesnt. got the point?

  23. Amit Agrawal says

interesting thought….still figuring out the subject line though…hehe…is the princess in ques you?

  24. rajesh vora says

    duh?

  25. sudheer kar says

Heyy shweta, dont u think this is too much!!

  26. Shweta Iyengar says

think about the title sudheer and rajesh…cos it desrves some thinking…especially because i did not think at all when i typed it in!!!!!

  27. Shweta Iyengar says

u have tried skepticism……now try trusting…give it a chance guys!!!!!

  28. rajesh vora says

yeah,,,,,,,,,,, first clear my doubts about the title…….. cant relate it to the blog (cmon yaar, u know wot a tubelight i am). and as for the situation itself, either its too good to be true or maybe she is one helluva lucky girl. and the last line………. it may hold good for about 0.0001% of the cases.

  29. sudheer kar says

I”m just thinking about the title!! in what way u want to say it is related to the topic. and regarding the theme, i like to believe it!!
Regarding the story, there could be other side as well!!

  30. Saravjit Kahlon says

    good n Touching

  31. vinu says

Beliefs are those things we trust to be true, and which are instrumental in creating our actions and our experience of life. Whether you can see it or not, you are the creator of your life, your reality, and all your responses to whatever happens around you.
While outside events may trigger a response or an action in you, all your responses and actions originate from something inside of you
(ur beliefs) most of the times the process is hidden from our awareness.
The best gift the father gave to krutika was Strong powerful positive beliefs. The rest just happened.
