Holi celebrates an ultimate triumph of the ‘good’ over the ‘evil’. The most widely held belief is that Holi marks the day when the devotee of Lord Krishna-Prahlad seated on the lap of demoness Holika, was saved from the effect of the fire from God and the demoness got burnt instead. Holi marks the rekindling of the spirit of Life.It is belived to be a festival of joy when all is forgiven.
All this looks like a good read but have we been able to win over evil?..is a question that remains unanswered..evil that resides around us and within us..evil that stops us from being better human beings..
Letz celebrate holi today and everyday with all the true, positive colors of life.Be the change..be the cause of a renaissance..and splash hues of honesty, peace, good citizenship and repect wherever we go..
“Don’t go around saying the world owes you a living; the world owes you nothing; it was here first.”

nice description..carry on
Our wish fulfilments! What are these rituals for? As u said, we never look at the real meanings. We celebrate these just for heck of it, right? I wish we all would understand the reasons.
We do not do anything for the nation, in turn demand our rights.
Keep smiling!
