Bujhi pyas dharti ki,boonde rimjhim rimjhim
Gati aaj malhar bulati O sajna sun!
Naache yah man mor thirak kar ta ta dhin dhin
Mukharit aaj anand chhun dish palpal chin-chin
Kitni sundar yah dharti hai, dharti hai ya iish swayam
Kitni madak gandh yahan par sooraj damke dam dam dam
Rang birange phoolon se ye saji aaj dharti jhilmil
Itna sundar divas suhana karte hain sab khilkhilkhil
Hey viraat tum yahin khel lo yah pyara kreeda-sthal
Dhaaro tum shishu roop kanhaia yahin tumhare gwal sakal
Aaj prakriti-mata bhi tumko dekh-dekh harshati hai
Unke mukh-mandal par meethi hansi khelti jati hai
Phool-phool kar pushp bikheren gandh sajayen yah dharti
Man ke sare dwesh mitayen prem sikhayen anuvarti
Aaj kewal prem ki hi baat karo O sajan!
