The tortoise

Wonder full experience I had, watching a tortoise laying eggs 3 meters away.

Its was Saturday mid night. A time normally spend sea shore. On the beach away from the crowed , in total darkness , setting on the broken boat listening to the sound of waves. Enjoying with twinkling starts and  motion of water wave in front.

Surrounded by scorpions & crabs, who would come near play fully ..some of them getting hide in sand.

While the wave retreat wave, found one black object standstill on the sand. For the movement it look as if a garbage. But after few seconds it starts moving towards.

It was big sea tortoise. Its moved forward and want behind boat. Started digging a

hole in sand. It sit on there and almost slept with laying eggs.

To watch it more closely moved  beside the it , hardly 3 meter away. Tortoise just blinked her eyes and again slept as if nothing happened.

After watching her activity for an hour , it was time to depart. It was wonderful experience watching a tortoise so closely.
