Storm hit the town &
Rain started pouring down
The night was very dark
The lightning showed its spark
The air pushed &pulled
Windows clashed
Cars zoomed
And water splashed
Other than the louder thunder
And the pouring water
There was no other noise
Except for a beat
'Who spoke the silent voice?
It was mother's heart
Whose child has not yet returned?
From her school
Sitting at the window
She waited & wept
Rain sprayed at her face
Her tears dissolved in the rain
But still her heart cried with pain
And negative thoughts
Was filled in her brain
She had a sleepless night
But then the morning came
The sun was bright
The thunder stopped
Clouds stopped crying
And the mothers tears
Had stopped rolling
And also her heart
Had stopped thumping
Even before she heard
Her daughter calling
Mom'I am sorry to be late
Because of blocked paths
All night I had to wait
Mom'..Mom'
But ' No answer!!!!
