TEACHERS’ DAY
Happy teacher’s day to all teachers of i-landers!!!!!
I was also a teacher for 21 yrs.It is the teacher who ensures that a young person grows up to be a matured citizen, capable of serving the country as well as to the society.
Every teacher has the high influence on the students. Teacher is a guru dispelling the darkness of ignorance. Teacher is an architect shaping the personality of the student through moral and ethical values.
A building does not make a school.The innovative teachers make the school. He or she is genuinely interested in the welfare of the students.He or she spend his or her lifetime shaping the young minds and moulding them into good citizens.Teaching is a godly profession.
Dr.Radhakrishnan was a great teacher and when he became the president of the country,his students and admirers requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday in a special manner.He replied that instead of celebrating his birthday separately, he would be honoured if september 5th would be celebrated as teacher’s day.
An apt example of a teacher is Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam,who is eagerly spreading his knowledge to us.
Teacher is next to God.So, we should bow our heads to those brilliant minds that have shared their knowledge with us , who we are to-day.
