A cricket fans club from Kolkata will be going
to the Kolkata High Court to file a defamation
case against Greg Chappell about the middle
finger incident, if he decides to comes back
as a director of the National Cricket Academy.
They have already got 4 witnesses ready
against Chappell, and the video footage of
the incident alongwith the one on a TV news
channel where he admitted to have done so
deliberately.
I would, if they would leave it at that. But to say that Dravid and Chappell were helpless and do not deserve ANY of the blame isn’t right either. It’s a total failure and everyone needs to take responsibility. In particular, the captain. I mean, it’s a skipper’s job to marshal his resources together and he needs to take prime responsibility for the team’s performance as a skipper and not as an individual.
